□乳之候非一端，伤乳停痰胃热寒，热宜和中清热饮，寒用温中止吐煎，
伤乳平胃散最妙，停痰二陈汤可痊，若是满而自溢者，常须节乳自能安。

Infantile milk accumulation presents with various syndromes, distinguished by residual milk, retained phlegm, stomach cold, and stomach heat. Treatment cannot be uniform.
For instance, if the complexion is predominantly red, bowel movements and urination are slightly constipated, and the fingers are warm, this indicates heat-type milk accumulation, which should be treated primarily with Hezhong Qingre Yin (Harmonize the Middle and Clear Heat Decoction).
If the complexion is cyanotic and pale, stool is clear and frothy, and the fingers are cold, this is milk accumulation due to cold, which should be treated primarily with Wenzhong Zhi Ou Tang (Warm the Middle and Stop Vomiting Decoction).
If there is oral heat, dry lips, restless sleep at night, and warmth in the palms, this is milk accumulation due to damaged milk, which should be treated primarily with Pingwei San (Calm the Stomach Powder).
If there is distension and fullness in the chest and diaphragm, with vomiting of phlegm and saliva, this is milk accumulation due to retained phlegm, which should be treated primarily with Zhijie Erchen Tang (Aurantii Fructus and Platycodon Two-Aged Decoction).
If the infant feeds excessively, leading to breast distension and spontaneous milk leakage, no medication is required; merely regulating breastfeeding will cause the symptoms to cease spontaneously.
