食时触异吐青涎，身热心烦睡不安，截风观音散极妙，止吐定吐丸可痊。

夹惊吐者，多因饮食之时忽被惊邪所触而致吐也，
其证频吐青涎，身体发热，心神烦躁，睡卧不宁，
先用全蝎观音散截其风，次用定吐丸止其呕，而病可痊矣。
(全蝎观音散) 人参三钱 黄耆蜜炙 扁豆炒 茯苓各五钱 莲肉三钱去心
木香一钱五分煨 白芷二钱 羌活 防风 天麻 全蝎各三钱去毒
炙甘草一钱五分 以上为细末，姜枣煎汤调服，量儿大小与之。
(定吐丸) 丁香二十一粒 蝎梢四十九条去毒 半夏三个姜制 以上为细末，
令匀煮枣肉为丸，如黍米大，每服七丸，金器煎汤化服。

吐证门
痰饮壅盛在胸中，痰因气逆呕吐成，眩晕面青吐涎饮，香砂二陈六君宁。

痰饮吐者，由小儿饮水过多，以致停留胸膈，变而为痰，
痰因气逆，遂成呕吐之证，
其候头目眩晕面青，呕吐涎水痰沫也，宜用香砂二陈汤，
虚者香砂六君子汤治之。
(二陈汤) 方见□乳 本方加藿香砂仁。
(香砂六君子汤) 藿香 缩砂仁 白术土炒 人参 茯苓 半夏姜制
陈皮 甘草 引用生姜水煎服。

吐证门
When eating, if startled by an unusual object, the child may vomit green saliva; accompanied by fever, restlessness, and disturbed sleep. Jiefeng Guanyin San (Wind-Interrupting Guanyin Powder) is extremely effective, and Zhitu Dingtu Wan (Vomiting-Stopping Pill) can cure it.

Jiajing Tu (Vomiting complicated by fright) is mostly caused by being suddenly startled by evil-fright during mealtime.
The symptoms include frequent vomiting of green saliva, body heat, mental restlessness, and restless sleep.
First, use Quanxie Guanyin San (Scorpion Guanyin Powder) to subdue the wind, then use Dingtu Wan (Stabilizing Vomiting Pill) to stop the vomiting, and the disease will be cured.
(Quanxie Guanyin San) Ren Shen (Ginseng Radix et Rhizoma) 3 qian, Huang Qi (Astragali Radix) honey-fried, Bian Dou (Dolichos Lablab Seed) stir-baked, Fu Ling (Poria) each 5 qian, Lian Rou (Nelumbinis Semen) 3 qian dehearted, Mu Xiang (Aucklandiae Radix) 1.5 qian baked, Bai Zhi (Angelicae Dahuricae Radix) 2 qian, Qiang Huo (Notopterygii Rhizoma et Radix), Fang Feng (Saposhnikoviae Radix), Tian Ma (Gastrodiae Rhizoma), Quan Xie (Scorpio) each 3 qian detoxified, Zhi Gan Cao (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma preparata) 1.5 qian. The above are ground into fine powder, taken with decoction of Sheng Jiang (Zingiberis Rhizoma Recens) and Da Zao (Jujubae Fructus), dosage adjusted according to the child's age.
(Dingtu Wan) Ding Xiang (Caryophylli Flos) 21 grains, Xie Shao (Scorpio tail) 49 pieces detoxified, Ban Xia (Pinelliae Tuber) 3 pieces ginger-processed. The above are ground into fine powder, mixed evenly, and formed into pills using paste from boiled Jujubae Fructus, size of Setaria italica seeds. Take 7 pills per dose, dissolved in water decocted in a gold vessel.

Category of Vomiting Syndromes
Phlegm-fluid retention is abundant in the chest; phlegm follows rebellious qi to become vomiting. Symptoms include vertigo, cyanotic complexion, and vomiting of saliva and fluids. Xiangsha Erchen Tang (Costus and Amomum Two-Aged Decoction) or Liujun Zi Tang (Six-Gentlemen Decoction) brings peace.

Tanyin Tu (Vomiting due to phlegm-fluid) results from children drinking too much water, causing fluid stagnation in the chest and diaphragm, transforming into phlegm.
Phlegm follows rebellious qi, thereby forming the syndrome of vomiting.
Its manifestations include vertigo of head and eyes, cyanotic complexion, and vomiting of saliva and frothy phlegm. It is suitable to use Xiangsha Erchen Tang for treatment.
For deficiency patterns, treat with Xiangsha Liujun Zi Tang.
(Erchen Tang) See formula in □ Ru chapter. This formula adds Huo Xiang (Agastaches Herba) and Sha Ren (Amomi Fructus).
(Xiangsha Liujun Zi Tang) Huo Xiang, Suo Sha Ren (Amomi Fructus), Bai Zhu (Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma) soil-stir-baked, Ren Shen, Fu Ling, Ban Xia ginger-processed, Chen Pi (Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium), Gan Cao (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma). Use Sheng Jiang as guide, decoct with water and take orally.

Xiangsha Liujun treats deficiency-phlegm vomiting,
Huo Xiang and Suo Sha Ren together with Bai Zhu,
Ren Shen, Fu Ling, and Chen Pi,
Ban Xia and Gan Cao decocted together.
