Attributes: [1] In injury syndromes, swelling and pain indicate pain caused by the coagulation of Blood Stasis (Yu Xue).
[2] If there is distension and heaviness, with skin color turning blue or black, and even fever, thirst, and sweating, this indicates obstruction in the meridians and channels due to damage to Yin Blood.
[3] One should first use acupuncture to release bad blood (Ev Xue) to unblock the obstruction, and then use Siwu Tang (Four Substances Decoction) to regulate the condition.

Attributes: [1] The syndrome of generalized Blood Stasis (Yu Xue) flooding following trauma is caused by blood stagnation resulting from falls or blows.
[2] Qi flows while Blood floods and coagulates; it may flood into the joints of the limbs, or remain in the chest, abdomen, waist, and buttocks, presenting as diffuse swelling (Man Zhong) or forming nodules:
<1> In the initial stage, it generally belongs to Liver Fire and Spleen Fire arising from constraint. Immediately apply the Scallion Moxibustion Method (Cong Yi Fa), internally administer Xiaochaihu Tang (Minor Bupleurum Decoction) to clear Liver Fire, followed by Bazhen Tang (Eight Treasures Decoction) to strengthen the Spleen and Stomach, or Yiqi Yangrong Tang (Tonify Qi and Nourish Ying Decoction); long-term administration will naturally yield results.
<2> If the condition persists for a long time and ulcerates with deficiency of Qi and Blood, Shiquan Dabu Tang (Ten Complete Tonifying Decoction) is indicated.
<3> If after ulceration, Cold Pathogens cause stagnation preventing healing, Dou Chi Bing (Fermented Soybean Cake) should be used to dispel the pathogen.
[3] For this syndrome, if one does not tonify Qi and Blood, does not take care in daily life, fails to restrain the Seven Emotions (Qi Qing), or uses cold and cooling herbs to attack the body's righteousness, all such cases are considered untreatable.
