Cistanche Deserticola one liang, Cornus Fruit (Shan Zhu Yu) one liang (some formulas omit this), Prepared Rehmannia Root (Gan Di Huang) six fen, Polygala Root six fen, Cnidium Fruit five fen, Schisandra Berry six fen. Taking this medicine nourishes nature, boosts Qi, replenishes essence and Qi, improves complexion, takes White Formula. Cistanche Deserticola, Dodder Seed, Cnidium Fruit, Schisandra Berry, Polygala Root, Dipsacus Root, Eucommia Bark (each four fen). Seven herbs crushed and sieved, mixed with honey into pills like wisteria seeds. Take five pills at dawn, twice daily, gradually increasing to seven pills. Effective after thirty days. For lower back pain, add Du Zhong; for lengthening, add Xu Duan; double the added ingredients. An eighty-year-old man taking this yields results similar to a thirty-year-old. Contraindications for women apply as usual.

Yuan Zhi Pill treats Seven Injuries causing impotence in men. Dipsacus Root four liang, Yam two liang, Polygala Root two liang, Cnidium Fruit two liang, Cistanche Deserticola three liang. Also stated: If normally forcing oneself to connect leads to weakness: Cnidium Fruit, Dodder Seed, powder taken with wine, one cun-bi, three times daily.

Qie Po Fang says: Treat impotence. Goji Berry, Acorus Root, Dodder Seed (each one fen). Mix, sieve, take one cun-bi, three times daily. Firm as an iron pestle.
