To treat retained placenta: Take Zhou Bi Ma Rou (2 qian) and Xiong Huang (Realgar, 2 qian), grind together into a paste, and apply to the sole of the mother's foot. The placenta will be expelled immediately. Once expelled, it is crucial to wash off the medication promptly.
To treat retained placenta: Use only Yi Mu Cao (Leonuri Herba), including roots, leaves, and flowers. Dry them in the shade in a ventilated place, grind into fine powder, and form pills with honey, sized like quail eggs. Take one pill per dose, dissolved in decoction and taken orally.
