(Yan's Formula)
Treats red and white leukorrhea, abdominal pain, loss of appetite, and emaciation (this is a syndrome of blood deficiency with heat; the treatment method should be cooling tonification. The *Mai Jue* states: prolonged metrorrhagia).
Herbs: Danggui (Radix Angelicae Sinensis), Shudihuang (Prepared Radix Rehmanniae), Ejiao (Colla Corii Asini, stir-fried), Xuduan (Radix Dipsaci), Baishaoyao (Radix Paeoniae Alba, stir-fried), Chishaoyao (Radix Paeoniae Rubra, stir-fried), Muli (Concha Ostreae, calcined with powder, 1 liang), Diyu (Herba Sanguisorbae, charred, 3 qian).
Usage: Formed into pills using vinegar paste. Taken with rice water.
Analysis: This formula acts on the Foot-Shaoyin Kidney Meridian and Foot-Jueyin Liver Meridian. Danggui, Baishaoyao, Shudihuang, Xuduan, and Ejiao tonify the Liver and nourish the Kidneys to treat blood deficiency; Muli and Diyu clear heat and astringe to stop leukorrhea; Chishaoyao is sour and cold, capable of dispersing evil blood and removing stasis to generate new blood; the purpose of dispersing stasis is indeed to achieve astringency.
(*Liang Fang* Formula)
Treats red and white leukorrhea with incontinence (*Liang Fang* states: leukorrhea arises from injury by wind-cold-damp-heat. Injury to the Liver Meridian results in discharge green like mud; [text missing]).
Herbs: Baizhi (Rhizoma Angelicae Dahuricae, 1 liang), Haipiaoxiao (Endoconcha Sepiae, 2 pieces, [processing missing]), Taifa (Calamistrum, 1 qian, [processing missing]).
Usage: Mixed with wine, take 2 qian.
Analysis: This formula acts on the Foot-Yangming Stomach Meridian, Foot-Shaoyin Kidney Meridian, and Foot-Jueyin Liver Meridian. Baizhi is acrid and warm, drying dampness and dispelling wind; Wuzhuyu (referring to Haipiaoxiao here, likely a textual variant or specific context where "Wu" refers to the shell) is salty and warm, drying dampness and harmonizing blood; Hair is the surplus of blood, tonifying Yin and resolving stasis, and when charred, it stops bleeding.
Those who die from disease but complete their natural lifespan, though unfortunate, are still fortunate. However, some suffer sudden violent death, such as hanging, drowning, arsenic poisoning, gu poison, snake bites, dog bites, etc., or minor injuries... and cases of being revived.
When phlegm-saliva surges to the Heart causing sudden collapse, immediately move the patient to a warm room, support them to sit upright, pour vinegar onto hot charcoal to let the vinegar vapor enter the patient's nose, which is effective... and [text missing].
When a person suddenly faints with a cold body and no phlegm, this is called Qi Jue (also known as Zhong Qi). If the body is warm with phlegm, it is called Stroke (Zhong Feng); simply support them to sit upright...
In winter, if one faints suddenly due to cold injury, with a stiff body, locked jaw, and cold extremities, if no medicine is available, decoct strong ginger soup and administer it.
For those frozen to death but still having breath, heat ashes in a bag and apply to the heart area, replacing when cool. Roasting with fire causes cold and heat to clash, leading to death; bathing in hot water also leads to death. Alternatively, mix half ginger juice and half hot wine, and take warm.
During summer, if one dies suddenly from heatstroke on the road, surround the navel with hot soil from the road and have someone urinate into it; or administer hot ginger soup or child's urine while warm; or mix equal parts hot soil and garlic, crush into water, and administer; or place in sunlight or near fire, and administer hot water to revive. Do not drink cold water, nor lie supine...
