川大黄末 干姜末 巴豆（去皮心，研，去油用霜） 上各等分，和合一处研匀，炼蜜丸，
臼内杵千百下，如泥，丸如小豆大，夜卧温水下一丸。如下气实者加一丸，如卒病，
不计时候，妇人有胎不可服。
京三棱（浸软，切片） 蓬莪术（煨） 青皮（去白） 陈皮（去白，各五斤） 干姜（炮） 胡椒（各三斤） 上
为末，用醋、面糊丸，如梧桐子大，矾红为衣，每服三十丸，食后姜汤送下。小儿
临时加减服。
枳实（去穣，麸炒，一两） 白术（二两） 上为末，荷叶裹烧饭为丸，如桐子大，每服五十
丸，白术汤下。
（即上方加半夏一两。）
黄芩（二两） 黄连（酒洗，一两） 升麻 柴胡（各三钱） 甘草（二钱） 枳实（炒，半两） 上为末，
汤浸蒸饼丸，每白汤下五七十丸。
苍术（泔浸，二钱） 浓朴（姜汁炒） 陈皮（去白） 甘草（炙，各一钱） 姜、枣煎。
丁香 木香 广术（炮） 京三棱（炮） 甘草（炙，各一钱） 丁香皮 甘松（净） 缩砂仁 益
智仁（各三钱） 香附（半两） 为末，汤浸蒸饼为丸，绿豆大，每白汤下三十丸，或细嚼。
黄芩 茯苓 白术 黄连（各三钱） 泽泻（三钱） 枳实（麸炒，去穣） 神曲（炒，各五钱） 大黄
（煨，一两） 上为末，汤浸蒸饼为丸，食远，白汤下五十丸。
Cortex Magnoliae Officinalis (Chuan Dahuang) powder, Rhizoma Zingiberis Preparatum (Ganjiang) powder, Fructus Crotonis (Badou) [skin and heart removed, ground, oil removed to use the residual cake (Baodoushuang)], each in equal parts. Mix and grind uniformly. Form pills with refined honey. Pound in a mortar for thousands of strokes until it becomes like mud. Shape into pills the size of small beans. Take one pill at night with warm water. If there is excess Qi stagnation, add one more pill. For acute illness, take without regard to meal times. Pregnant women must not take this.
This is Lizhong Tang (see Middle Cold). Add Cortex Citri Reticulatae (Chenpi) and Pericarpium Citri Reticulatae Viride (Qingpi) in equal parts.
Rhizoma Sparganii (Jingsanleng) [soaked until soft, sliced], Rhizoma Curcumae Longae (Peng'ezhu) [roasted], Pericarpium Citri Reticulatae Viride (Qingpi) [white pith removed], Cortex Citri Reticulatae (Chenpi) [white pith removed, 5 jin each], Rhizoma Zingiberis Preparatum (Ganjiang) [processed], Fructus Piperis Nigris (Hujiao) [3 jin each]. Grind all into powder. Form pills with vinegar and flour paste, the size of Sophora japonica seeds. Coat with alum-red cinnabar. Take 30 pills per dose, washed down with ginger soup after meals. For children, adjust dosage as needed.
Fructus Aurantii Immaturus (Zhishi) [pulp removed, bran-fried, 1 liang], Rhizoma Atractylodis Macrocephalae (Baizhu) [2 liang]. Grind into powder. Wrap in lotus leaves and roast rice to form pills, the size of sesame seeds. Take 50 pills per dose, washed down with Baizhu decoction.
(This is the above formula plus Radix Bupleuri (Banxia) 1 liang.)
Radix Scutellariae (Huangqin) [2 liang], Rhizoma Coptidis (Huanglian) [wine-washed, 1 liang], Radix Bupleuri (Shengma), Radix Bupleuri (Chaihu) [3 qian each], Radix Glycyrrhizae Preparatae (Gancao) [2 qian], Fructus Aurantii Immaturus (Zhishi) [fried, half liang]. Grind into powder. Moisten with decoction and steamed bread to form pills. Take 50-70 pills per dose with plain boiled water.
Rhizoma Atractylodis (Cangzhu) [soaked in rice wash water, 2 qian], Cortex Magnoliae Officinalis (Nongpo) [stir-fried with ginger juice], Cortex Citri Reticulatae (Chenpi) [white pith removed], Radix Glycyrrhizae Preparatae (Gancao) [roasted, 1 qian each]. Decoct with fresh ginger and jujube.
(This is Zhizhu Wan plus Radix Aucklandiae (Muxiang) 3 qian, Rhizoma Zingiberis Preparatum (Paojiang) 5 qian.)
Flos Caryophylli (Dingxiang), Radix Aucklandiae (Muxiang), Rhizoma Curcumae (Guangzhu) [processed], Rhizoma Sparganii (Jingsanleng) [processed], Radix Glycyrrhizae Preparatae (Gancao) [roasted, 1 qian each], Cortex Caryophylli (Dingxiangpi), Rhizoma Nardostachyos (Gansong) [cleaned], Fructus Amomi Rotundus (Suosharen), Semen Alpiniae Oxyphyllae (Yizhiren) [3 qian each], Rhizoma Cyperi (Xiangfu) [half liang]. Grind into powder. Moisten with decoction and steamed bread to form pills, the size of mung beans. Take 30 pills per dose with plain boiled water, or chew finely.
Radix Scutellariae (Huangqin), Poria (Fuling), Rhizoma Atractylodis Macrocephalae (Baizhu), Rhizoma Coptidis (Huanglian) [3 qian each], Radix Alismatis (Zexie) [3 qian], Fructus Aurantii Immaturus (Zhishi) [bran-fried, pulp removed], Frumentum Fermentatum (Shenqu) [fried, 5 qian each], Radix Rhei Preparata (Dahuang) [roasted, 1 liang]. Grind into powder. Moisten with decoction and steamed bread to form pills. Take 50 pills per dose with plain boiled water, taken well away from meals.
