Chengman (ST19), located five cun lateral to Juque (RN14): Indicated for borborygmus (intestinal rumbling) and dysentery/diarrhea. Moxibustion on both sides: 50 moxa cones each.
Methods for treating cough:
Liver cough: Needle Zuchong (LR3).
Heart cough: Needle Shenmen (HT7).
Spleen cough: Needle Taibai (SP3).
Lung cough: Needle Taiyuan (LU9).
Kidney cough: Needle Taixi (KI3). [Note: Text says "Da Xi", interpreted as Taixi based on context of Kidney meridian].
Gallbladder cough: Needle Yanglingquan (GB34).
Jueyin cough: Needle Shou Jueyin acupoints.
Cough: Moxibustion at the junction of black and white skin below both nipples, 100 moxa cones each side, leads to recovery.
Alternatively, use a cattail leaf to measure the circumference around the nipple, wrap it around the body ensuring anterior-posterior alignment, and moxibustion at the midpoint of the spinal process gap: 10 moxa cones.
Alternatively, measure the width of the mouth horizontally with a string, drape the string down along the spine, and moxibustion at both ends of the string: 80 moxa cones each side, repeated three times. Complete within three days; alignment of the string ends indicates correct measurement.
Additionally, moxibustion at Dazhui (GV14): Counting downwards, between the lower border of the fifth thoracic vertebra and the upper border of the sixth thoracic vertebra. This point treats rebellious Qi (Shangqi).
Ya Sou (cough with open mouth breathing): Moxibustion at the head of the major transverse crease under the flexed elbow, dosage according to age (Suinian Zhuang).
Rebellious Qi, coughing with Qi rebellion, shortness of breath, chest fullness, inability to eat: Moxibustion at Feimu (BL13/PC14 area, likely referring to Lung Mu or specific back-shu context, text implies a mu point) 50 moxa cones.
Rebellious Qi, coughing with Qi rebellion, shortness of breath, wind-lao (wind-induced chronic wasting disease), various diseases: Moxibustion at Jianjing (GB21) 200 moxa cones.
Rebellious Qi, shortness of breath, coughing with Qi rebellion, penetrating pain in chest and back: Moxibustion at Fengmen (BL12) and Refu (GV12/Dazhui area) total 100 moxa cones.
Rebellious Qi, coughing with Qi rebellion, shortness of breath, chest fullness, excessive salivation, hemoptysis, cold phlegm: Moxibustion at Feishu (BL13), dosage according to age. (Qianjin Fang records 50 moxa cones).

Treating cough: Flex the arm, locate the transverse crease, press the outer bone prominence to find the painful spot, moxibustion 14 moxa cones (2x7).
Additionally, 3 cun above the medial malleolus, in the depression anterior to the fibula (Guanyuan/Jiexi area context, likely referring to Sanyinjiao or similar, text says "Juegu" which is Gallbladder but location describes medial leg, likely error in source or specific local point, translating literally as described location): Moxibustion 50 moxa cones. Indicated for coughing with Qi rebellion, deficiency-lao, cold damage, sorrow/resentment, tendon/bone spasm/pain. Also indicated for heart Qi rebellion, diarrhea/abdominal pain, throat bi, neck/jaw fullness, intestinal hemorrhoids/rebellious Qi, hemorrhoidal bleeding, genital tension. Epistaxis, bone sores, difficulty in urination/defecation, nasal dryness, irritability.
Treatise states: Generally, for rebellious Qi conditions, some recover after taking emetic medicines, while others are cured by acupuncture and moxibustion. One should deeply comprehend this.
Methods for treating Phlegm-Fluid Retention:
Various accumulations, retained fluids, cystic masses, chest fullness, indigestion: Moxibustion at Tonggu (BL20/Shenshu area? Text says Tonggu, likely Weizhong BL40 or similar, but strictly Tonggu usually refers to ST40 Fenglong's alternative name or specific point. In Qianjin, Tonggu often refers to Weizhong BL40 or similar. However, literal translation: Tonggu) 50 moxa cones.
Additionally, moxibustion at Weiguan (Zhongwan RN12) 300 moxa cones, repeated three times.
