Decoction for Resolving Da San (Great Accumulation):
Porcine fat (1 liang, melted) and Fermented soybean (1 sheng, wrapped in silk gauze).
Take the above two ingredients, boil the fermented soybean in 3 sheng of water, obtain 1 sheng of decoction, add the porcine fat, take 7 he, three times a day. For those who have taken mineral drugs (Shi ren), the drink should be cool and cold, not hot; if hot, it will cause Qi stagnation and fullness at the site of the mineral drug toxicity. Only wine is an exception, which must be heated.
If caused by eating stored rice, spoiled meat, or triggering milk-related issues (due to mineral drug toxicity), one must slowly consume Scallion and Fermented Soybean Decoction (Congchi Tang), taking it five or six times, and it will heal immediately.
If caused by dietary injury, add Angelica sinensis Root (Danggui, 1 liang) to the Scallion and Fermented Soybean Decoction (Congchi Tang), boil, remove dregs, divide into three warm doses, and it will heal. If symptoms persist, use the following Reed Rhizome Decoction (Lugen Tang):
Reed Rhizome (Lugen), Sanguisorba Root (Diyu), and Acanthopanax Bark (Wujia Pi) (each 1 liang).
Chop the above three ingredients, boil in 3 sheng of water, obtain 1 sheng, remove dregs, take once for healing. This decoction acts swiftly; children do not need to take it.
If triggered by seasonal temperature fluctuations affecting the body due to mineral drug toxicity, it is caused by cold and heat pathogens, resembling malaria. If untreated for long, it can be fatal, and other medicines will likely fail. One must use the Hot and Cold Bath Decoction:
Fill a large vessel with water. If too hot, add some cold water, then sit in the bath without moving. After a moment, all joints open, and cold/heat pathogens exit through pores, turning into sweat. If feeling stifled heat in the heart, take a small amount of hot decoction to settle. Stay out after a while, cover with thick clothes, lie down, and wake up peacefully. For severe cases, within two or three sessions, it will heal.
Resolving Multiple Movements Causing Restlessness, Vomiting, and Regurgitation:
Ginseng Root (Renshen), Atractylodes Macrocephala Rhizome (Baizhu), Trichosanthes Fruit (Gualou), Licorice Root (Zhi Gancao) (each 2 liang), and Scutellaria Root (Huangqin) (1 liang).
Chop the above five ingredients, boil in 7 sheng of water, obtain 2 sheng, remove dregs, divide into three doses, take warm.
Formula for Treating Mineral Drug Toxicity and Back Carbuncles/Furuncles:
Take 2 sheng of Black Soybeans, boil in 6 sheng of water until thick like thin syrup. Take 3 da he appropriately, spoon slowly into the patient's mouth. Listen carefully for abdominal sounds; stop if defecation is desired. Defecation will occur shortly, and healing follows. Avoid hot food, stale/smelly food, etc.
Formula for Mineral Qi Causing Mild Body Swelling and Facial Sores:
Purple Snow (Zixue, added when decoction is ready), Scutellaria Root (Huangqin) (each 2 liang), Polygonatum Rhizome (Weirui), and Cimicifuga Rhizome (Shengma) (each 1.5 liang), Gardenia Fruit (Zhizi) (10 pieces, broken), Rhinoceros Horn Shavings (Xijiao Xie), and Licorice Root (Zhi Gancao) (each 1 liang).
Chop the above seven ingredients, boil in 5 sheng of water, obtain 1.8 sheng, strain, add Zixue, divide into three warm doses. Take another dose after walking about 6-7 li. Stop after three bowel movements. Apply the posterior formula to sores. Avoid hot noodles, pork, seaweed, etc.
Formula for Mineral Heat Causing Facial Sores:
Take Halite (Hanshui Shi), grind in cold water in a white porcelain mortar until thick juice forms. Apply to sores; dry and reapply immediately, do not let it stay.
Formula for Various Mineral Toxieties Causing Dry Mouth, Chills/Fever, and Spirit-Like Illnesses:
Ophiopogon Tuber (Mendong, 5 liang, heart removed), Rhubarb (Dahuang), Sophora Root (Kushen) (equal parts each), Polygonatum Rhizome (Weirui), Gardenia Fruit (Zhizi, broken), Acanthopanax Bark (Wujia Pi), Scutellaria Root (Huangqin), Fresh Rhinoceros Horn (Sheng Xi), Peony Root (Shaoyao), and Cimicifuga Rhizome (Shengma) (each 1 liang), Isatis Leaf (Daqing), and Licorice Root (Zhi Gancao) (each 3 fen).
Pound and sieve the above twelve ingredients into powder, mix with refined honey to make pills the size of wutong seeds. Take 14 pills with honey water shortly after meals, gradually increase to 20 pills as needed. Avoid hot foods, seaweed, pork, fish, roasted meat, garlic, noodles, etc.
Formula for Mineral Toxieties Causing Fever and Distress:
Refined Porcine Fat (Zhi), Scallion White (Qingbai) (each 5 he), Mirabilite (Mangxiao) (1 liang), and Fermented Soybean (Chi) (1.5 liang).
Boil scallion and fermented soybean in 2 sheng of water, obtain 1.5 sheng, strain, add porcine fat and Mirabilite, divide into three warm doses. Take another dose after walking 3-4 li. Stop when rapid bowel movement occurs. Avoid hot noodles, roasted meat, garlic, sticky food, stale food, etc.
