鼻聋者，谓不闻香臭也。治用∶
细辛 白芷 羌活 防风各五分 芎 当归 橘皮 桔梗 茯苓各一钱 薄荷三钱
生姜三片
水煎服，立效。
马兜铃五钱 麻黄三钱 五味子 甘草各一钱
以水二碗，煎取一碗，加黑砂糖少许，卧时温服，即愈。如服药罔效者，惟灸上心穴五
壮自愈。
生地黄八两 黄芩一两 阿胶 甘草各二两 柏叶一把
上以水七升，煮取三升，去滓纳胶，煎取二升半，分三服。外用∶
蜗牛（焙干）一枚 乌贼骨五分
共研细末，吹入鼻中，神效。
黄芩 半夏各二钱 天冬 麦冬 五味子各一钱五分 杏仁一钱 甘草五分
用水二盅，加生姜三片，煎八分，食后服。外用∶
软石膏（ ）一两 黄连二分 辰砂五服 龙脑二分
共研成细末，和匀，送入鼻孔内，日三五次，立效。
蟾酥（酒化）二钱 轻粉五分 枯白矾 寒水石（ ） 铜青 胆矾 乳香 没药 麝
香各一钱
上先将各药捣末，于端午日午时。在净室中，先将蜗牛研烂，同蟾酥和匀稠粘，方入各
药共捣匀，丸如绿豆大。每服三丸，热酒下，覆被安卧，汗出为效。如鼻外发肿，可用∶
陈墨一两 蟾酥 胆矾 血竭各三钱 朱砂二钱 麝香一钱五分
上共为末，以凉水调成锭。临用以凉水磨如墨，以笔蘸药涂之。
Apply oil to the inside and outside of the nose, or moisten it with butter (Su), which is also effective.
Nasal anosmia (Bí Lóng) refers to the inability to smell odors. Treatment uses:
Xixin (Asari Radix et Rhizoma), Baizhi (Angelicae Dahuricae Radix), Qianghuo (Notopterygii Rhizoma et Radix), Fangfeng (Saposhnikoviae Radix) each 0.5 qian; Xiong (Ligusticum Chuanxiong Rhizoma), Danggui (Angelicae Sinensis Radix), Jupi (Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium), Jiegeng (Platycodonis Radix), Fuling (Poria) each 1 qian; Bohe (Menthae Haplocalycis Herba) 3 qian; Shengjiang (Zingiberis Rhizoma Recens) 3 slices.
Decoct in water and take orally; immediate effect is expected.
Madouling (Aristolochiae Fructus) 5 qian, Mahuang (Ephedrae Herba) 3 qian, Wuweizi (Schisandrae Chinensis Fructus), Gancao (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma) each 1 qian.
Decoct two bowls of water until one bowl remains, add a little black sugar, and take warm before bedtime; recovery will follow. If medication proves ineffective, moxibustion on Shangxing (GV26) acupoint for five moxa cones (Zhuang) will lead to self-healing.
Shengdihuang (Rehmanniae Radix) 8 liang, Huangqin (Scutellariae Radix) 1 liang, Ejiao (Colla Corii Asini), Gancao (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma) each 2 liang, Baiye (Cacumen Platycladi) one handful.
Take the above ingredients, decoct in seven sheng of water until three sheng remain, remove the dregs, add Ejiao, and simmer until two and a half sheng remain. Divide into three doses. External use:
Wo Niu (Helix Aspersa) (roasted dry) one piece, Wuzhegu (Sepiae Endoconcha) 0.5 qian.
Grind together into a fine powder and insufflate into the nose; miraculous effect.
Huangqin (Scutellariae Radix), Banxia (Pinelliae Rhizoma) each 2 qian; Tandong (Asparagi Radix), Maidong (Ophiopogonis Radix), Wuweizi (Schisandrae Chinensis Fructus) each 1.5 qian; Xingren (Armeniacae Semen Amarum) 1 qian; Gancao (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma) 0.5 qian.
Use two zhong of water, add three slices of Shengjiang (Zingiberis Rhizoma Recens), decoct until eight-tenths remain, and take after meals. External use:
Ruan Shigao (Gypsum Fibrosum) 1 liang, Huanglian (Coptidis Rhizoma) 2 fen, Zhensha (Cinnabaris) 5 parts (Note: likely a typo for fen/qian), Longnao (Borneolum Syntheticum) 2 fen.
Grind together into a fine powder, mix evenly, and insert into the nostrils; apply three to five times daily for immediate effect.
Chansu (Bufonis Venenum) (dissolved in wine) 2 qian, Qingfen (Calomelas) 0.5 qian; Kubaijian (Alumen Exsiccatum), Hanshuishi (Halloysitum Rubrum calcined), Tongqing (Vitriolum Cupri), Danfan (Alumen), Ruxiang (Olibanum), Moyao (Myrrha), Shexiang (Moschus) each 1 qian.
First, pound all medicines into powder. On the noon hour of the fifth day of the fifth lunar month, in a clean room, first grind Wo Niu (Helix Aspersa) into a paste, mix evenly with Chansu (Bufonis Venenum) until thick and sticky, then add the other medicines and pound uniformly. Form pills the size of mung beans. Take three pills per dose with hot wine, cover with a blanket, lie down quietly, and sweating indicates efficacy. If swelling occurs on the exterior of the nose, use:
Chenmo (Carbonized Ink Stick) 1 liang, Chansu (Bufonis Venenum), Danfan (Alumen), Xuexie (Dracaenae Sanguiumen) each 3 qian; Zhensha (Cinnabaris) 2 qian; Shexiang (Moschus) 1.5 qian.
Pound all together into powder, mix with cool water to form an ink stick. When using, grind with cool water like ink, dip a brush into the medicine, and apply to the affected area.
