The patient's sole suddenly developed two extra toes, causing unbearable pain. Immediately use a knife to gently prick the toes to induce bleeding. Subsequently, apply the following powder: Ren Shen (Ginseng Radix) 1 qian, Long Nao (Borneol) 3 fen, Peng Sha (Borax) 1 fen, Wa Cong (Allium macrostemon Bulb) 1 liang. Grind all ingredients into a fine powder and sprinkle on the affected area as needed until bleeding ceases. Then, administer the following decoction: Ren Shen (Ginseng Radix), Sheng Gan Cao (Raw Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma), Niu Xi (Achyranthis Bidentatae Radix), Bai Jie Zi (Sinapis Semen), Bi Xie (Dioscoreae Hypoglaucae Rhizoma) each 3 qian; Bai Zhu (Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma) 5 qian; Yi Yi Ren (Coicis Semen) 1 liang; Ban Xia (Pinelliae Rhizoma) 1 qian. Decoct in water and take orally. The condition will be completely cured after four doses. Externally, apply Shen Gao (Miraculous Ointment) and Sheng Ji San (Flesh-Generating Powder).
This syndrome is caused by offending spiritual entities. Initially, the patient felt severe pain in the back, which gradually swelled over time. After scraping the skin with a knife, a snake-like object suddenly leaped out, approximately two chi long. Emergency treatment involves: Ren Shen (Ginseng Radix) 1 liang; Ban Xia (Pinelliae Rhizoma) 3 qian; Tian Nan Xing (Arisaematis Rhizoma) 3 qian; Fu Zi (Aconiti Lateralis Radix Praeparata) 1 qian. Decoct in water and take in one dose. Externally apply Sheng Ji San (Flesh-Generating Powder) and Shen Gao (Miraculous Ointment).
This is caused by unrestrained indulgence in alcohol and sexual desire. Blood flows like a thin thread from the feet or pores, continuing without stopping, leading to imminent death. Emergency treatment: Yan Cu (Strong Vinegar) 3 jin. Boil it and immerse both feet until bleeding stops. Subsequently, use: Ren Shen (Ginseng Radix) 1 liang; Dang Gui (Angelicae Sinensis Radix) 3 liang. Decoct into a concentrated soup. Take one piece of Ling Li Jia (Manis Pentadactyla Scuta), stir-fry it, grind into powder, and mix into the medicinal liquid for oral administration. This prevents recurrence.
This is due to the stagnation and accumulation of Fire pathogen. Treatment should employ dispersing agents. Use: Chai Hu (Bupleuri Radix) 3 qian; Chao Zhi Zi (Gardeniae Fructus Stir-fried) 3 qian; Tian Hua Fen (Trichosanthis Radix) 3 qian; Gan Cao (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma) 2 qian; Bai Shao (Paeoniae Radix Alba) 1 liang. Decoct in water and take orally. Recovery occurs after several doses.
There was once a case where a person suffered from generalized pruritus, which subsided slightly when pricked with an awl. Soon after, severe itching recurred, requiring cutting with a knife for relief. Shortly thereafter, itching returned; cutting caused pain and uncontrolled bleeding. Duan Shi (Calcined Alumen) was used to stop the bleeding, but severe itching recurred, necessitating cutting until the entire body was lacerated before cessation. This is attributed to committing numerous evils and offending Heaven. The patient must vow to reform. Concurrently, administer: Ren Shen (Ginseng Radix) 1 liang; Dang Gui (Angelicae Sinensis Radix) 3 liang; Jing Jie (Schizonepetae Spica) 3 qian. Decoct in water and take for three doses. Effectiveness is guaranteed.
