Dizziness and vertigo caused by head wind (Head Wind) result from deficiency of Qi and Blood, allowing pathogenic Wind to invade. All Yang meridians ascend to the head and face. Due to physical exertion or labor, Yang Qi is dispersed, pores (Cou Li) open, and Wind pathogens invade. In cases of Head Wind, there is excessive sweating on the head and face, aversion to wind, and in severe cases, headache and mental restlessness. It may also occur due to exposure to Wind immediately after bathing, causing internal and external Wind invasion, leading to this disease. If it persists without cure, dizziness and vertigo develop because Wind pathogens flow into the brain, causing the brain to rotate and the eye-brain connections (Mu Xi) to become tense; tension in the eye-brain connections results in vertigo. The pulse at the Cun Kou position is surging, large, and long. In such cases, taking Da Xiao Xiang Sha Wan (Great Efficacy Fragrant Amomum Pill) will surely lead to recovery.
