Da Gu Kong (Acupoint located at the tip of the second phalanx of the thumb. Moxibustion: 9 moxa cones; extinguish the flame by blowing.)
Xiao Gu Kong (Acupoint located at the tip of the second phalanx of the little finger. Moxibustion: 7 moxa cones; extinguish the flame by blowing. The above two acupoints can treat lacrimation due to wind-cold, and blepharitis with ulcerated eyelid margins caused by wind.)
Jingming, Fengchi, Taiyang (Needle to bleed) Qimen (Moxibustion on these four acupoints treats pterygium [fleshy growth climbing over the cornea].)
Shuigou (Located below the nose, also known as Renzhong. Acupuncture and moxibustion treat fixed gaze/strabismus.)
Ermén (Moxibustion) Hegu (Acupuncture and moxibustion are suitable for treating lacrimation due to wind.)
Shenting, Shangxing, Xinhui, Baihui, Qianding (The above five acupoints are suitable for pricking blood with a three-edged needle, applying salt to the wound. Specifically treats nyctalopia [night blindness], inability to see at night.)
Ganshu (Two acupoints, located on both sides of the ninth thoracic vertebra on the back spine, each 2.5 cun lateral. Moxibustion: 7 moxa cones. Treats liver wind with guest-heat, lacrimation due to wind-cold, and also treats nyctalopia.)
Hegu (Two acupoints, located beside the web between the thumb and index finger, below the diverging bones. Moxibustion: 7 moxa cones. Treats heat stagnation in the Yangming channel causing nebula, obstruction, redness, and swelling. Generally, eye diseases are suitable for moxibustion on this acupoint to prevent recurrence permanently.)
Zanzhu, Sizhukong (Acupoints near the eyes are forbidden for moxibustion; only needling to induce bleeding is allowed.) Yifeng (One acupoint, located 3 cun below Quwan internally, 0.5 cun lateral. Moxibustion: 7 moxa cones. Treats red and white nebula/membrane, unclear vision.)
Zusanli (Can improve vision. Folk saying: If one does not moxa Zusanli after age thirty, turbid qi will ascend to the upper part, causing unclear vision. Moxa on Zusanli works on the principle of descending fire qi.)
Previously, Dai Ren treated a female slave who suddenly went blind and could not see objects. He said: This is due to ministerial fire. The Qi and blood of the Taiyang and Yangming channels are abundant. Thus, he pricked the inside of the nose and bled from the Zanzhu acupoint, and her vision was immediately restored.

Muchuang, Shangguan, Chengguang (The above acupoints all treat dizziness/blurred vision, and unclear sight.) Mingmen, Ganshu (See previous text) Baguan Da Ci (Treats severe eye pain as if the eyeball would protrude, unbearable. Must prick the spaces between the ten fingers to induce bleeding for cure.)
