Wuzi Yanzong Wan (Five-Seed Progeny-Proliferating Pill): When men take this medicine, it can increase semen and nourish the marrow, unblock and facilitate Kidney Qi. Regardless of whether the Lower Jiao presents with deficiency or excess, cold or heat syndromes, taking it will naturally balance and secure Yin and Yang. This formula is uniquely praised as the number one prescription in ancient and modern times; there are even sayings that families who have taken this medicine for generations have seen their descendants proliferate so much that they formed villages, hence the name "Yan Zong" (Proliferating Lineage).
Ingredients and Preparation: Gansu Goji Berry (Gouqi) 8 liang, Dodder Seed (Tusizi) 8 liang (boiled in wine, pounded into cakes, and baked dry), North Schisandra Fruit (Beiwuweizi) 2 liang, Plantago Seed (Cheqianzi) 2 liang (lightly stir-fried and ground), Raspberry (Fupenzi) 4 liang (washed clean with wine). The above ingredients are processed into fine powder, mixed with refined honey to form pills the size of a paulownia seed. Take 90 pills on an empty stomach and 50 pills before bed, swallowed with boiling water. Regarding preparation timing: In spring, select Bing/Ding/Si/Wu days; in summer, select Wu/Ji/Chen/Xu/Chou/Wei days; in autumn, select Ren/Gui/Hai/Zi days; in winter, select Jia/Yi/Yin/Mao days.

Only 2 liang are used per batch, the rest are stored for later use). The above ingredients are processed into fine powder. The Cinnabar from inside the Fuzi is reserved as the pill coating. Rice flour paste made with wine is used to form pills the size of a paulownia seed. Take 30 pills per dose, gradually increasing to 70 pills, swallowed on an empty stomach with light vinegar soup, or warm wine/salt soup.

For women with irregular menstruation and difficulty conceiving, this formula is extremely effective.
Ingredients and Preparation: Placenta (Ziheche) (one unit, washed clean with rice wash water, sandwiched between two new tiles, dried, and ground into powder. Common belief values only fresh births, not realizing that if the woman is weak and Qi-deficient, it offers little benefit to the newborn.) Remove Poria and Amomum. Using Rehmannia alone invigorates blood, cools blood, and clears five-palm heat.) Ginseng Root (Renshen) (1 liang, generates fluids, tonifies middle and benefits Qi, calms the spirit.) Ophiopogon Tuber (Tianmendong) (heart removed, 1.2 qian. Protects Lung Qi, nourishes skin and muscles, clears dryness and heat.)

(From *Mifang*) Shenxiao Baizi Wan:
Bright and pure Sulfur (Liu Huang) (1 liang, boiled for one day in a copper pot with Licorice decoction, taken out, dried in shade, and ground into flour-like powder).
Bind with paste to form pills the size of a paulownia seed, approximately 200 pills. Whenever a woman's menstruation has ended, take 25 pills on an empty stomach with wine. On the next day, take 35 pills. On the third day, take 40 pills. After finishing 100 pills, intercourse will lead to conception. Menstruation should stop the following month; if it resumes, take another 100 pills of the previous prescription as directed, and pregnancy will surely occur. Thereafter, one may take blood-cooling and nourishing agents to secure the fetus and ensure maternal peace. This formula is infallible; do not neglect it because it is simple. Conception requires warm blood; Sulfur merely warms the blood. Some say it is hot and slightly toxic; boiling it in Licorice decoction controls its nature. Taking cooling and blood-nourishing agents after pregnancy clears the source, achieving the ultimate treatment. Such formulation shows profound understanding.
(From *Dadian*) Zhengxin Wan: Treats women who envy outsiders due to their husband's lack of offspring. Process into fine powder, mix with refined honey to form pills the size of a paulownia seed. Women who take this regularly will not be jealous and will have children. Take 90 pills per dose, far from meals, with plain water.
(From *Dadian*) Shengjin Wan: Treats women with long-term deficiency leading to infertility, and all ailments during pregnancy and postpartum. Also treats men with lower deficiency and weakness.

(From *Miyan*) Jitou Zhou Duozi Shenxiao Fang:
Chinese Yam Nut (Qianshi Rou) (1 dou, clean), White Sorghum Grain (Bai Liang Mi) (2 sheng), Lotus Seed (Lianrou) (soaked, peeled, cored, and baked dry), Coix Seed (Yiyiren) (fresh), Huaiqing Dioscorea Rhizome (Huaiqing Dry Shanyao) (ground, each 1 sheng).
Process into powder, mix uniformly according to proportions, and store together. In summer, use 3 sheng of Qianshi as the main ingredient and reduce other powders, likely to prevent loss of qi during long storage. Every morning on an empty stomach, mix 1-2 he of powder with rice soup, cook in a silver pot until porridge-like consistency, add two spoons of white sugar. A clay pot can be used if no silver pot is available, but avoid copper or iron pots. Eat 1-2 bowls as breakfast. Do not interrupt usage; effectiveness appears after half a year. Herbal medicines do not need continuous long-term use.
This specifically regulates the Spleen and Stomach; when Earth is prosperous, it generates all things. Essence, Qi, and Spirit are born from Spleen Earth. It is impossible for Spleen Earth to be weak while Essence is abundant. When Earth is prosperous and Essence is full, children come naturally. This formula seems simple, yet surpasses others. Experience confirms its efficacy; even in old age, it strengthens spirit and health.
