Cut open to remove the wax coating, grind and dissolve in Bohe Tang (Mentha Decoction) or Jiang Tang (Ginger Decoction) before administration. The effect is miraculous.

Wax Wrapping Method
Use a round wooden ball the size of a longan, insert an iron rod through it, and boil in water until thoroughly heated for later use. Melt yellow wax in water; the wax will float on the surface. Dip the wooden ball into the floating wax layer by layer until the wax coating reaches a thickness of two fen. Remove from cold water, split halfway along the iron rod with a knife, remove the wooden core, place the pill inside, and briefly warm over a lamp so the wax seals. Re-insert the iron rod, dip again in wax for an outer coat, remove the rod, and seal the hole with a fingernail to make it airtight. This ensures the medicine remains unspoiled even after centuries.
