A orifice the size of a needle eye. Fluid flows incessantly. It may appear above the elbow or at the corner of the eye. Use four taels of genuine sesame oil (Sesami Oleum) and eight taels of pure wine (Vinum). Mix evenly and take warm.
Regarding Ding sores (Carbuncle-like lesions), these are rapidly progressing diseases in surgery. Some patients die from morning onset to evening, some die immediately upon onset, some survive three to five days, and others finally pass away after one month or half a month.
If these distinctions are not clearly indicated, the resulting delay will be profound.
Flame Ding (Flame Carbuncle) mostly appears between the lips, mouth, palms, and finger joints. Initially, it presents as a small red-yellow blister. Scratching causes extreme itching and pain, accompanied by numbness in the limbs on both sides.
Purple Swallow Ding (Purple Swallow Carbuncle) mostly appears between the hands, feet, waist, flanks, sinews, and bones. Initially, it forms a purple blister. The next day, it breaks and bleeds bloody fluid. After three days, it spreads along the sinews and rots the bones, causing severe pain.
Yellow Drum Ding (Yellow Drum Carbuncle) initially presents as a yellow blister that is bright and moist, surrounded by redness. Lesions often occur at the corners of the mouth, cheeks, above and below the eyelids, and near the Taiyang acupoint, accompanied by hiccups.
White Blade Ding (White Blade Carbuncle) initially presents as a white blister with a hard, protruding apex. Upon breaking, it exudes a greasy fluid. It alternates between pain and itching, prone to ulceration and sinking of the toxin. In severe cases, it damages the cheeks and scorches the throat, with hair standing on end.
Black Crust Ding (Black Crust Carbuncle) mostly appears in the ear canal, chest, abdomen, waist, kidney regions, and between soft flesh in remote areas. Initially, it presents as black spots and purple blisters. The toxin spreads through the skin and gradually attacks the muscles.
This is a serious disease.
Red Thread Ding (Red Thread Carbuncle) originates between the joints of the palm. Initially, it resembles a small sore, gradually developing red threads that ascend up the arm, causing frequent chills and fever, and even nausea and vomiting.
In treating all Ding toxins, early intervention is crucial for easier recovery. If differentiation is unclear, have the patient chew raw soybeans; if they do not taste fishy, it is confirmed as Ding toxin.

Dahuang (Rhei Radix et Rhizoma), Badou (Crotonis Fructus, remove heart and peel, use raw), Xionghuang (Realgar) (each three qian).
Combine the above three ingredients. Pound them in a stone mortar until they form a paste like mud. Mix with fine sifted flour, aged vinegar, and cooked paste, pounding together until extremely fine and smooth to form pills.
