味甘，大热，无毒。主缓中，字乳余疾，及头脑大风汗出，虚劳寒冷，补中益气，安

燔之，治小儿泄痢，肠鸣惊痫。
《本经》原文∶ 羊角，味咸，温。主青盲明目，杀疥虫，止寒泄，辟恶鬼虎野狼，止惊
悸。久服，安心益气
味咸，酸，微寒，无毒。主治伤寒，温疫，头痛，寒热，诸毒瓦斯。久服骏健。生永昌
益州。（松脂为之使，恶 菌、雷丸。）

痫。肉，味甘，平，无毒。治消渴，止 泄安中益气，养脾胃，自死者不良。屎，寒
肿，恶气，用涂门户着壁者。燔之，治鼠 ，恶疮。黄犍牛、乌牯牛溺，治水肿，腹胀
满，利小便。
又，牛鼻中木卷，治小儿痫。草卷烧灰，主治小儿鼻下疮。
《本经》原文∶牛角 ，下闭血瘀血疼痛，女人带下血。髓，补中，填骨髓。久服增年。
胆，可丸药。
Treats Qingmang (blindness or impaired vision) and brightens the eyes.
Tonifies Lung Qi, treats cough.
Stops chest qi stagnation caused by sorrow and indignation.
Tonifies Kidney Qi, benefits essence and marrow.
Treats infantile sheep epilepsy (a type of epilepsy) and alternating chills and fever. Collect it on the third day of the third lunar month.
Sweet in taste, greatly hot in nature, non-toxic. Primarily relaxes the middle jiao, treats residual diseases after childbirth, and conditions such as sweating due to wind attacking the head, deficiency cold, tonifies the middle and supplements qi, calms and stops fright.
Clears heat, treats deficiency labor, cold in the middle jiao, emaciation and thinness.
Burned into charcoal, it treats infantile diarrhea and dysentery, borborygmus, and fright epilepsy.
*Shennong Bencao Jing* original text: Sheep horn, salty in taste, warm in nature. Primarily treats Qingmang and brightens the eyes, kills scabies mites, stops cold-type diarrhea, wards off evil spirits, tigers, wolves, and wild beasts, stops palpitations and fright. Long-term use calms the mind and supplements qi.
Salty and sour in taste, slightly cold in nature, non-toxic. Primarily treats Shanghan (cold damage), Wenyi (warm epidemics), headache, chills and fever, and various toxic vapors. Long-term use promotes robustness. Grows in Yongchang and Yizhou. (Pinus resin is its assistant; adverse with Fungus and Polyporus.)
*Shennong Bencao Jing* original text: Rhinoceros horn, bitter in taste, cold in nature. Primarily treats hundred toxins and insect bites, evil spirits and miasma, kills Gouwen (strychnos), Zhen feather, and snake venom, removes evil, prevents confusion and nightmares. Long-term use...
Burned into charcoal, bitter in taste, non-toxic. Water buffalo horn, treats epidemic febrile diseases causing chills, fever, and headache. Marrow, sweet in taste, warm in nature, non-toxic. Primarily calms the five zang organs, scorches marrow, tonifies the middle, reconnects severed injuries, supplements qi, stops diarrhea and dysentery, eliminates thirst, taken with wine. Gallbladder, bitter in taste, greatly cold. Clears heart and abdominal heat and thirst, diuresis, dry mouth and tongue, benefits eye essence. Heart, treats forgetfulness. Liver, primarily brightens the eyes. Kidney, primarily tonifies Kidney Qi and benefits essence. Teeth, treat infantile epilepsy. Meat, sweet in taste, neutral in nature, non-toxic. Treats Xiao Ke (wasting-thirst syndrome), stops diarrhea, calms the middle, supplements qi, nourishes spleen and stomach; meat from self-dead cattle is undesirable. Feces, treats cold swelling and evil qi; apply to doors and walls. Burned into charcoal, treats Shu Li (scrofula) and malignant sores. Urine of yellow bullock and black bull, treats edema, abdominal distension and fullness, promotes urination.
Additionally, the wooden coil in the ox nose treats infantile epilepsy. The grass coil burned to ash primarily treats ulcers under the infant's nose.
*Shennong Bencao Jing* original text: Niu Jiao Sui (tip of the ox horn), breaks closed blood and stasis pain, treats leukorrhea with blood in women. Marrow, tonifies the middle, fills bone marrow. Long-term use increases longevity. Gallbladder, can be used for pill preparation.
