Discourse states: Parasites are born with humans, hiding in concealed places. Their harm stems fundamentally from the deficiency of healthy qi (Zheng Qi). If one consumes raw and cold foods and is simultaneously affected by wind pathogens, various changes occur leading to their proliferation. Initially, they may seem harmless, but when severe, they can be fatal. Those skilled in preserving health eat bland diets, moderate desires, and eliminate the "Three Corpses" (Daoist concept of parasites residing in the body causing illness) early on, preventing disease before it arises. In this way, the nine types of parasites will dissolve imperceptibly. If one does not follow this path, one must use medicine to remove pests and eliminate worms, preventing their spread, as there are indeed medicines available for treatment.
The discourse states: The so-called "Nine Parasites" are named as follows: First is the Fu Chong (Hidden Worm), four fen long; second is the Hui Chong (Roundworm), one chi long; third is the Bai Chong (White Worm), one cun long; fourth is the Rou Chong (Flesh Worm), resembling rotten apricots; fifth is the Fei Chong (Lung Worm), resembling silkworms; sixth is the Wei Chong (Stomach Worm), resembling toads; seventh is the Ruo Chong (Weak Worm), resembling melon seeds; eighth is the Chi Chong (Red Worm), resembling raw meat; ninth is the Nuo Chong (Pinworm), resembling vegetable worms, extremely minute. These nine parasites reside within the intestines and stomach. If the qi of the fu and zang organs is sufficient, they cannot cause harm; however, when qi is deficient, they activate and change, eroding blood and qi, gradually developing into various diseases, which requires careful examination.
Guan Zhong Wan Formula for treating the activation of the nine parasites and the resulting various diseases:
Guan Zhong (Cyathulae Radix), Shi Can (Silex Siliceus, lightly fried, each 1 liang 1 fen), Ye Lang Ya (Acanthopanacis Senticosi Caulis, chopped), Lu (likely a typo or missing herb name in source, translated as Lu), Shu Qi (Perillae Fructus or similar depending on context, here kept as Shu Qi), Bai Jiang Can (Bombyx Batryticatus, lightly fried), Hou Po (Magnoliae Officinalis Cortex).
(Note: Source text lists ingredients but implies nine items, some details may be truncated in source).
Crush and sieve the above nine herbs into powder. Mix with refined honey to form pills. Place in a mortar, add a small amount of butter (Su), and pound until uniform and cooked. Form into pills the size of paulownia seeds. Take ten pills per dose, with warm rice water on an empty stomach, and again at noon and before bed.
Ji Zi Wan Formula for treating the nine parasites:
Ji Zi (Galli Ovum Shell removed, two eggs), Hao Qi (Good Lacquer, filtered through silk, 4 liang), La (Beeswax, 3 liang), Jing Mi Fen (Oryza Sativa Var. Glutinosa Rice Flour, half sheng).
Take the lacquer and wax first, place in a copper pot, and simmer over low heat, stirring until appropriate. Add rice flour, stir evenly, and cook until solidified and suitable for pill formation. Place the pot on a pile of raw yellow earth. When slightly warm, add the eggs, stir appropriately, return to fire, and cook until suitable for pill formation. Form into pills the size of mung beans. Fast overnight. On an empty stomach, take twenty pills with millet drink; children take five pills.

Grind these into powder. Add a small amount of She Xiang (Moschus), grind uniformly. Use vinegar-boiled wheat paste to bind into pills, size of paulownia seeds. Take ten pills with warm water, before meals on an empty stomach.
Shi Liu Zhi Tang Formula for treating parasite activation, abdominal stabbing pain, vomiting clear fluid, dark yellow complexion, and worm-induced heart pain:
