Discourse states: Cold Qi (Cold Pathogenic Factor) is caused by cold pathogenic factors invading the body and clashing with the body's Qi. The Lung governs Qi; the movement of Qi is like flowing water that cannot cease; warmth ensures smooth flow, while cold causes stagnation. If a person experiences shortness of breath and weak Qi, stabbing pain in the hypochondrium, tightness and tension of the skin, aversion to cold accompanied by shivering, soreness and pain in all joints, coughing with hoarseness, and obstruction/stuffiness in the chest diaphragm and epigastrium, these are manifestations of disease caused by Cold Qi.
