论曰∶藏真高于肺而主气，藏真通于心而主血，藏真散于肝而藏血。是三者，或因愁忧
思虑，与夫恚怒气逆，伤之则气乱而血妄行，下入于胃，胃受之则满胀，其气贲冲于上，故
吐血不止也。
治吐血极者不止。大圣散方。

白蔹三两 阿胶（二两炙令燥）
上二味，粗捣筛。每服二钱匕，酒水共一盏，入生地黄汁二合，同煎至七分，去滓温服。
如无地黄汁，入生干地黄一分同煎亦得。
治吐血，肺损不止。白金散方。

上二味，再研匀。每服二钱匕，新汲水调下，未止再服。如中暑毒瓦斯，生姜蜜水调下。
治吐血似鹅鸭肝，昼夜不止。生犀散方。

上二味，捣罗为散。暖酒调下二钱匕。

上用上色白瓷碗盘，椎碎，捣罗为细末，打皂荚子入煎汤。调下二钱匕，连三服立愈

上一味，为散，每服三钱匕，用鸡子清和新汲水半盏调下。

上一味，粗捣筛。每服三钱匕，水一盏，煎至七分，去滓，放冷服，食后。治吐血不
止。如圣散方。
枫香脂（不拘多少）上一味，细研为散。每服二钱匕，新汲水调下，不计时候。
治吐血不止。蛛丝散方。
大蜘蛛网一大块
上一味，于铫中炒令黄色，研为散。以温酒调下，立止。
治吐血不止，咳嗽。补肺百花煎方。

上一味，和生蜜。每服半盏，不拘时候。
Commentary states: Among the Zang organs, the True Qi of the Lung is highest and governs Qi; the True Qi connects with the Heart and governs Blood; the True Qi scatters into the Liver and stores Blood. These three may be injured by sorrow, worry, overthinking, or anger causing Qi rebellion. Injury leads to chaotic Qi and reckless blood flow. The blood enters the Stomach downwards; when the Stomach receives it, distension occurs. The Qi rushes upward, thus causing continuous hematemesis (vomiting blood).
Formula for treating severe hematemesis that does not stop: Dasheng San (Great Sage Powder).
Jinxing Shi (Venus Stone), Yinxing Shi (Silver Star Stone), Yuyuliang (Yu Yu Liang Ore), Hanshui Shi (Cold Water Stone) [all crushed above]; Buhui Mu (Non-ash Wood); Banxia (Pinelliae Rhizoma, washed seven times in decoction to remove slipperiness, processed with Shengjiang Jiang (Fresh Ginger Juice), dried); Dahuang (Rhei Radix et Rhizoma, chopped); Gafen (Calcitum).
The above eight ingredients are mixed in equal parts, pounded and sieved into a powder. Each dose is one qianbi (approx. 3-5g), mixed with newly drawn cold water. Adding a small amount of Longnao (Borneolum Syntheticum) is excellent. It also resolves the five poisons.

Ejiao (Asini Corii Colla, fried until dry, half liang); Shenggan Dihuang (Rehmanniae Radix Preparata, dried, one liang); Renshen (Ginseng Radix et Rhizoma, one fen); Huangbai (Phellodendri Cortex, coarse skin removed, honey-fried); Chanqiao (Cicadae Periostracum, soil removed).
The above seven ingredients are pounded and sieved into a powder. Each dose is one qianbi, taken with Mixian Yin (Glutinous Rice Decoction), at any time.
Formula for treating hematemesis that does not stop: Zhugen San (Boehmeriae Root Powder).
Zhugen (Boehmeriae Caulis Foliumque Radix), Renshen (Ginseng Radix et Rhizoma), Bai'e (Kaolinite), Gafen (Calcitum) [each one fen].
The above four ingredients are pounded and sieved into a powder. Each dose is one qianbi, taken with Mixian Yin (Glutinous Rice Decoction), at any time.
Formula for treating hematemesis that does not stop: Jin San (Gold Powder).
Huangbai (Phellodendri Cortex, coarse skin removed, coated with honey and fried until red, two liang); Hanshi Mian (Han Shi Noodle, lightly fried, one liang); Huangming Jiao (Huangming Jiao, fried until dry, one liang).
The above three ingredients are pounded and sieved into a powder. Each dose is three qianbi, taken with cold boiled water, after meals and before sleep.
Formula for treating hematemesis that does not stop: Biejia San (Trionycis Carapax Powder).
Biejia (Trionycis Carapax, one liang, chopped into slices); Gafen (Calcitum, one liang, fried together with Biejia in a pot until fragrant and yellow); Shugan Dihuang (Rehmanniae Radix Preparata, dried by sun, one and a half liang).
The above three ingredients are pounded into a fine powder. Each dose is two qianbi, taken after meals with La Cha Qing (Aged Tea Infusion). One may rest briefly after taking the medicine.
Formula for treating hematemesis that does not stop: Yujin San (Curcumae Radix Powder).
Yujin (Curcumae Radix, one liang); Lianshi (Nelumbinis Semen, peeled); Huangqin (Scutellariae Radix, chopped, each one fen).
The above three ingredients are pounded and sieved into a powder. Each dose is one qianbi, taken with cold water, at any time.
Formula for treating hematemesis that does not stop: Erhuang Tang (Two Yellow Decoction).
Shenggan Dihuang (Rehmanniae Radix Preparata, dried); Puhuang (Pollinis Typhae, each one liang).
The above two ingredients are coarsely pounded and sieved. Each dose is two qianbi, with one zhan (approx. 200ml) of water, adding seven leaves of Zhuye (Bambusae Folium), decocted to seven-tenths volume. Strain, cool, and sip slowly. Take after meals.
Formula for treating hematemesis that does not stop: Tiaowei San (Regulate Stomach Powder).
Zibei Heye (Nymphaeae Folium with purple back, dried, half liang); Huangqin (Scutellariae Radix, chopped, one fen).
The above two ingredients are pounded and sieved into a fine powder. Each dose is one qianbi, taken with Shengjiang Mi Shui (Ginger and Honey Water), at any time.
Formula for treating hematemesis that does not stop: Bailian Tang (Ampelopsis Radix Decoction).
Bailian (Ampelopsis Radix, three liang); Ejiao (Asini Corii Colla, two liang, fried until dry).
The above two ingredients are coarsely pounded and sieved. Each dose is two qianbi, with one zhan of wine and water combined, adding Ersheng Dihuang Zhi (Fresh Rehmanniae Juice, two he). Decoct together to seven-tenths volume, strain, and take warm. If fresh Rehmanniae juice is unavailable, adding Shenggan Dihuang (Rehmanniae Radix Preparata, one fen) for decoction is also acceptable.
Formula for treating hematemesis due to Lung damage that does not stop: Baijin San (White Platinum Powder).
Baifan (Alumen), Jiujie Changpu (Acori Tatarinowii Rhizoma selected as nine-jointed), powdered (each one liang).
The above two ingredients are ground again until uniform. Each dose is two qianbi, taken with newly drawn cold water. If bleeding has not stopped, take another dose. For heatstroke or toxic vapors, take with Shengjiang Mi Shui (Ginger and Honey Water).
Formula for treating hematemesis resembling goose or duck liver, continuing day and night: Shengxi San (Raw Rhinoceros Horn Powder).
Xijiao (Rhinocerotis Cornu, two liang, shaved into flakes, used raw); Jiegeng (Platycodonis Radix, two liang, used raw).
The above two ingredients are pounded and sieved into a powder. Take two qianbi mixed with warm wine.
Formula for treating hematemesis forming clots that does not stop: Ruoye San (Indocalyx Leaf Powder).
Ruoye (Indocalyx Leaf, half liang, burned to ash); Fengxiang Zhi (Liquidambaris Resina, one liang).
The above two ingredients are ground into a powder. Each dose is one qianbi, taken with decoction of Huangniupi Tang (Yellow Cow Hide Decoction), at any time.

Huangqi (Astragali Radix, half liang, finely ground); Wulingzhi (Trogopterori Faeces, one liang).

Huangyaozi (Dioscoreae Hypoglaucae Rhizoma, from Wanzhou) one liang.

Take high-quality white porcelain bowls or plates, crush them, and grind into fine powder. Make a decoction from Zaojia Zi (Gleditsiae Sinensis Fructus seed). Mix the powder with this decoction. Take two qianbi. Three consecutive doses will cure it immediately.

Renshen (Ginseng Radix et Rhizoma).
The above single ingredient is made into a powder. Each dose is three qianbi, mixed with Danqing (Egg White) and half zhan of newly drawn cold water.

The above single ingredient is fried in a pot until yellow, then ground into a powder. Take with warm wine. Bleeding stops immediately.
Formula for treating hematemesis that does not stop, accompanied by cough: Bufei Baihua Jian (Lung-Nourishing Hundred-Flower Paste).
Shengdihuang Zhi (Fresh Rehmanniae Juice, one sheng); Shengjiang Zhi (Fresh Ginger Juice, half sheng); Huangniu Ru (Cow Milk, one and a half sheng); Ou Zhi (Lotus Root Juice, one sheng); Hutao Rang (Walnut Kernel, ten pieces, ground into paste); Ganshi (Dried Persimmon, five pieces, finely chopped and ground into paste); Dazao (Jujubae Fructus, twenty-one pieces, boiled, skin and pits removed, ground into paste); Qingjiu (Clear Wine, one sheng). Place the above ingredients in a silver pot and decoct. After boiling, add the following medicines: Huangming Jiao (Huangming Jiao, fried dry and powdered); Qin Jiao (Gentianae Macrophyllae Radix, powdered, each half liang); Xingren (Pruni Armeniaci Semen, soaked in water, skin and tips removed). Add these eleven ingredients sequentially. Decoct until volume is reduced by half. Then add four liang of high-quality honey. Slowly cook into a paste. Store in a porcelain container. Take three times daily, one spoonful per dose, mixed with Mixian Yin (Glutinous Rice Decoction). Taking with wine is also acceptable.

Honglanhua (Carthami Flos, two liang); Fulonggan (Dragon's House Earth, three liang, soaked in five sheng five he of water, filtered to obtain juice); Xijiao (Rhinocerotis Cornu, shaved, one fen); Tian Zhuru (Sweet Bamboo Shavings, three fen); Baiji (Bletillae Rhizoma - *Note: Original text says "Bai", inferred as Baiji based on context of hemostasis formulas*).
The above six ingredients: Decoct all medicines using the Fulonggan juice to obtain six he. Strain. Divide into three doses after meals. Each dose should include one qianbi of Luafa Hui (Burnt Hair Ash) mixed evenly.

Formula for treating Heat accumulation in Heart and Lung, or anger causing Qi rebellion leading to reckless blood flow lasting long without stopping: Tumazong Tang (Wild Horse Mane Decoction).
Tumazong (Herba Leonuri Japonici, dried two liang); Zhishi (Aurantii Fructus, pith removed, bran-fried); Baifuling (Poria, black skin removed); Qin Jiao (Gentianae Macrophyllae Radix, seedlings and soil removed); Gancao (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma, honey-fried, chopped); Chaihu (Bupleuri Radix, seedlings removed); Renshen (Ginseng Radix et Rhizoma); Shenggan Dihuang (Rehmanniae Radix Preparata, dried, each one liang).
The above eight ingredients are coarsely pounded and sieved. Each dose is three qianbi, with one zhan of water, decocted to seven-tenths volume. Strain and take warm after meals.
