**Preparation and Administration of Sanxian Wan (Three-Ingredient Pill)**
Finely chop the aforementioned three medicinal materials. Decoct them to make a strong decoction for washing the affected areas. Apply once every three days. Concurrently, regularly administer Zhui Xian Wan (Saliva-Sinking Pill).
**Formula for Zhui Xian Wan (Saliva-Sinking Pill)**
Mercurius (Qishuiyin, 汞) (0.5 liang), Nifen (Calomel/Nifen, 腻粉) (7 qianbi), Badou (Crotonis Fructus, 巴豆) (27 seeds, peeled, membrane removed, oil expressed), Sha (Sand/Mineral, 砂) (1 fen, ground), Banxia (Pinelliae Rhizoma, 半夏) (washed seven times in hot water), Baijian (Alumen, 白矾) (combined with Banxia and Shengjiang [Zingiberis Rhizoma Recens, 生姜], 2 liang total, pounded into a paste, dried in shade), Wulingzhi (Trogopterori Fulmen, 五灵脂) (1 liang each), Qianghuo (Notopterygii Rhizoma et Radix, 羌活) (0.5 liang, rhizome removed), Muguezi (Semen Strychni, 木鳖子) (... [text missing] ... Sha (1 qian, ground).
Process the above thirteen ingredients by pounding and grinding into powder. Soak steamed wheat dough in water to form pills the size of mung beans. Take 5–7 pills per dose, administered with tea or wine. Three doses daily.
**Formula for Liushen San (Six-God Powder) for Treating Leprosy**
Lougu (Mole Cricket, 蝼蛄) (1 piece, intestines removed), Fengmi (Honeybee, 蜜蜂) (7 pieces). These two are wrapped thickly in mud (half-finger thickness), baked over fire until the mud turns red and dry, cooled, then finely ground in a mortar without sieving. Shanglu Gen Zhi (Juice of Phytolaccae Radix, 商陆根汁) (0.5 zhan), Shengjiang Zhi (Ginger Juice, 生姜汁) (3 fen), Shengmi (Raw Honey, 生蜜) (3 fen), Lvdou Mo (Mung Bean Powder, 绿豆末) (1 qianbi).
Mix the above six ingredients evenly. Administer once with warm wine. Expect nausea, runny nose, salivation, sweating, and vomiting of phlegm after about half a day. Provide warm rice soup frequently when thirsty. If vomiting and diarrhea are excessive, or if blood appears, do not doubt; this indicates the expulsion of pathogenic factors. Avoid exposure to wind. If abdominal pain occurs after purging, and a mass resembling an egg of various colors is expelled, this is the root of the disease. If appetite is lost, decoct Gancao (Licorice Root, 甘草) (2 cun) and Huanglian (Coptidis Rhizoma, 黄连) (2 strips) in one zhan of water until reduced to half a zhan. Drink warm. This dosage applies regardless of age or strength. If no reaction occurs within half a day, administer Zhangliu... [text missing]. Apply to the affected area. After about half a day, swelling will occur. Wipe off the medicine with soft cloth, puncture the lower part with a thorn to drain fluid, and allow it to dry naturally. Do not peel the blister skin. Ensure Bimao (Mylabris, 斑蝥) does not enter the mouth or eyes. If small pustules appear on the face, do not use Bimao; instead, use prepared Aiye (Artemisiae Argyi Folium, 艾叶) with a small amount of Danfan (Alumen, 胆矾). Form moxa cones the size of a hairpin shaft and apply moxibustion. One cone per site. For sores on hands and feet, wash with hot decoction of Gancao. Alternatively, apply a powder made from Baixiaoyanzi (Dioscorea Bulbifera, 白药子) (3 liang), Gancao (1 fen), and Jingjie (Schizonepetae Herba, 荆芥) (10 spikes). Can be used like bath soap. Strictly avoid sexual intercourse and foods that generate wind or qi, such as salt, vinegar, and seasonings. Consume only plain congee. Continue for 100 days.
**Topical Formula for Major Wind Disease**
Cishi (Magnetitum, 磁石) (quench in vinegar), Xuanjingshi (Xuanjing Stone, 玄精石) (ground), Yuyuliang (Haematitum, 禹余粮) (quench in vinegar), Yangqishi (Yangqi Stone, 阳起石) (ground), Shi... Ningshuishi (Niter, 凝水石) (4 liang, fine powder), Mercurius (4 liang), Nifen (1 liang).
Mix the three ingredients with drops of water to form a thin paste. Place the patient in a sealed room. Apply half the mixture to the entire body, avoiding the throat and heart area. Rub vigorously with hands to generate heat. Repeat the application and rubbing on the following night or next day. Viscera will expel foul matter. Administer only warming and tonifying medicines. Avoid all wind-generating substances. Skin recovers in one month; eyebrows and eyelashes regrow in two months. Severe cases may relapse after six months; repeat treatment for permanent cure.
