Discussion states: Fetal movement during pregnancy may be caused by the mother's illness affecting the fetus, or by fetal issues affecting the mother; in both cases, neither can remain stable. If the cause is maternal illness, treating the mother first will naturally stabilize the fetus; if the cause is fetal pathology, treating the fetus first will naturally stabilize the mother. Occasionally, ingestion of toxic substances, imprudent daily living habits, qi stagnation, alternating chills and fever, threatened abortion with vaginal bleeding, etc., can all lead to fetal movement. In such cases, care should be adjusted according to the specific etiology.
