Discourse states: The *Jia Yi Jing* (Classic of Jia Yi) records that pain in the lower abdomen radiating to the testicles, pulling on the lumbar spine and sacrum, with Qi rushing upward to strike the heart and lungs, indicates pathogenic factors in the Small Intestine. It further states that those suffering from Small Intestine diseases experience lower abdominal pain, with the lumbar spine and testicles pulling and aching. The Small Intestine connects to the spermatic cord, is affiliated with the spine, penetrates the Liver and Lungs, and links to the Heart system. If the meridians of the Small Intestine are deficient and weak, Wind-Cold pathogens will take advantage of the opening to enter. When pathogenic Qi becomes excessive, symptoms of Jue Ni (Cold Reversal) appear; Qi rushes upward to the Liver and Lungs, where lingering Cold disperses into the Huang Mo (Sanjiao membrane), knots at the umbilicus, pulls and draws the testicles, rising but not descending, causing pain that radiates to the lower abdomen. In severe cases, it strikes the chest and heart region. This is due to the connections and affiliations of the meridians.
