Discussion states that teeth are the culmination of bones, nourished by marrow, used to crush and grind various grains, and are called the "Jade Pool." Through rubbing, cleaning, rinsing, and gargling, as well as tapping teeth and guiding exercises (Dao Yin), it is essential to ensure that saliva flows abundantly, eliminating foul odors, making the teeth firm and solid, the gums and alveolar ridges tight and secure, thereby preventing various diseases. The *Shenghui Fang* mentions that some people suffer from wind-pathogen-induced diseases due to improper tooth-rubbing methods; this arises from inappropriate usage, which causes harm rather than benefit, a fact that must not be overlooked.
