[Commentary] It is stated that in cases of Xiao Ke (Wasting and Thirsting Syndrome) accompanied by restlessness, the Yang Qi fails to be concealed, leading to internal dryness of Body Fluids (Jin Ye). This causes mental agitation, thirst, a desire to drink, and physical restlessness. The *Nei Jing* (Inner Canon) states that all forms of restlessness and manic behavior belong to Fire. This is generally due to the decline of Qi in the Heart and Kidney, resulting in a failure of Water (Yin) and Fire (Yang) to harmonize with each other.
