Discourse states: The emergence of *fuyi* (a membrane-like lesion covering the eyeball) in the eyes is caused by the disharmony of deficiency and excess in the Zang-Fu organs and Qi-Blood, compounded by wind pathogens and phlegm-fluid retention. These pathogenic factors stagnate above the diaphragm, undergo prolonged steaming and steaming effects, and then surge into the eyes, resulting in the formation of *fuyi*. This opacity appears on the cornea (*jing*) and pupil (*tongren*), resembling the shape of a fly's wing; this is termed *fuyi*.
