Discussion states: The manifestations of Liver Excess syndrome include hardness and fullness in the epigastrium, frequent pain in both hypochondria, sometimes radiating to the lower abdomen, irritability resembling anger, dizziness, headache, red eyes with polyp formation. These are signs of Liver Excess. When the pulse appears as excess at the Yin position of the Guan (Cun Kou) on the left hand, it indicates an excess condition of the Foot Jueyin Liver Meridian.
