论曰足太阴之经，脾之脉也。脾经之疟，令人不乐，好太息，不嗜食，多寒热汗出，病
至则呕，呕已乃寒，寒则腹中痛，热则肠中鸣，鸣已汗出，故谓足太阴疟，又名脾疟。治脾
疟寒热时作。肌瘦食减，肠泄腹痛。吴茱萸汤方

上一十味。粗捣筛，每服三钱匕，水一盏，生姜二片，煎至七分去滓，未发前温服。
治脾疟不思食。浓朴汤方

上三味。粗捣筛，每服三钱匕，水一盏，生姜三片，枣一枚劈破，煎至七分去滓，空心
日午临卧，各一服。
治脾疟。木香丸方
木香 附子（炮裂去皮脐） 大黄（锉炒） 浓朴（去粗皮姜汁炙） 人参（各一两） 芍
药桂（去粗皮） 京三棱（煨） 独活（去芦头） 干姜（炮） 芎 羌活（去芦头） 甘
草（炙各半两） 陈橘皮（汤浸去白焙
上一十五味。为细末，炼蜜丸如梧桐子大。每服三十丸，未发前温水下日三。
治脾疟寒热。槟榔汤方
槟榔（锉） 青橘皮（汤浸去白焙） 前胡（去芦头） 白术 菝 （各一两）
上五味。粗捣筛，每服三钱匕，水一盏，煎至七分，未发前，去滓温服。
治脾疟无问远近。阿魏丸方
阿魏（研） 安息香（入胡桃瓤同研） 莱菔子（炒各三钱） 芜荑仁（微炒为末一分）
上四味。为细末，炼蜜丸如绿豆大，每服二十丸，未发前，温水下，得吐则瘥。
治脾疟寒热善呕多汗。青蒿汤方
青蒿 附子（炮裂去皮脐） 桂（去粗皮） 浓朴（去粗皮姜汁炙） 甘草（炙） 陈
橘皮（汤浸去白焙） 半夏（为末姜汁和作饼曝干） 麻黄（去根节） 草豆蔻（去皮） 白
术（各半两） 藿香叶（一两）
上一十一味。锉如麻豆，每服三钱匕，水一盏，生姜三片，枣一枚劈破，煎七分，去滓
温服，日三不拘时。
治脾疟。人参饮方

上五味。粗捣筛，每服五钱匕，用湿纸裹定，熟水二盏，生姜一枣大拍碎，枣二枚劈破

上五味。捣罗二味为末，入别研三味和匀，面糊丸绿豆大，每用一丸绵裹，未发前男左
女右，塞耳中瘥，合时取五月五日午时，面北先吸气七遍，却于药上呵七遍，神验。
治脾疟。橘皮散方
陈橘皮（汤浸去白焙） 常山 干漆（炒烟出） 桂（去粗皮各三分） 牡蛎（烧赤一
分）
上五味。为细散，每服三钱匕，未发前，温酒调下，三服必瘥。
治脾疟。半夏散方
半夏（为末姜汁调作饼焙干） 阿魏（研各一钱）
上二味，研匀，以温酒半升，未发前调匀，旋旋服之。
治脾寒疟疾。七枣散方
乌头（大者一枚炮良久移一处再炮凡七处炮满去皮脐）
上为细末，都作一服，用大枣七枚，生姜七片，葱白七寸，水一碗，同煎至一盏，疾发
前，先食枣，次温服药，只一服瘥。一方乌头不炮，用沸汤一盏泡，以物盖之候温，温更泡
，满四遍，去皮切焙干，根据上法作一服。
Commentary states: The Foot-Taiyin Meridian is the meridian of the Spleen. Malaria affecting the Spleen Meridian (Spleen Malaria) causes a person to feel unhappy, sigh frequently, lose appetite, and experience alternating chills and fever with profuse sweating. When the disease strikes, vomiting occurs; after vomiting, chills set in, accompanied by abdominal pain during cold phases, and borborygmus (intestinal rumbling) during hot phases, followed by sweating. Hence it is called Foot-Taiyin Malaria, also known as Spleen Malaria. Treatment for Spleen Malaria with alternating chills and fever, emaciation, reduced appetite, diarrhea, and abdominal pain. The above ten ingredients. Coarsely crushed and sieved. Take three qianbi per dose, add one zhan of water and two slices of Zingiberis Rhizoma Recens (Shengjiang), decoct until seven-tenths remain, remove dregs, and take warm before onset.
Treatment for Spleen Malaria with loss of appetite. Magnoliae Officinalis Cortex Decoction (Nongpu Tang)

The above three ingredients. Coarsely crushed and sieved. Take three qianbi per dose, add one zhan of water, three slices of Zingiberis Rhizoma Recens (Shengjiang), and one Jujubae Fructus (Zao) split open, decoct until seven-tenths remain, remove dregs. Take one dose each on an empty stomach, at noon, and before sleep.

The above fifteen ingredients. Powdered finely, mixed with refined honey to form pills the size of Sophora japonica seeds. Take thirty pills per dose, swallow with warm water before onset, three times daily.

The above eleven ingredients. Cut like hemp seeds. Take three qianbi per dose, add one zhan of water, three slices of Zingiberis Rhizoma Recens (Shengjiang), and one Jujubae Fructus (Zao) split open, decoct for seven minutes, remove dregs, and take warm. Three times daily, at any time.

Cardamomi Fructus Rotundus (Caodoukou) (seven pieces, skin removed)
The above five ingredients. Coarsely crushed and sieved. Take five qianbi per dose. Wrap tightly in wet paper. Add two zhan of boiled water, one piece of Zingiberis Rhizoma Recens (Shengjiang) the size of a date, smashed, and two Jujubae Fructus (Zao) split open. Decoct in a porcelain vessel until one zhan remains, remove dregs, and take warm before onset.
Treatment for Spleen Malaria with more chills than fever, sweating, dizziness, stiffness of the back and shoulders, or chest fullness, retching, cough, abdominal distension and pain, sallow complexion, emaciation, and limb joint pain and fatigue. Bupleuri Decoction (Chaihu Tang)

The above seven ingredients. Powdered finely. Take two qianbi per dose, mix with wine and take before onset, three times daily.

Croci Fructus (Badou) (skin and heart membrane removed, oil expressed, ground)
Zingiberis Rhizoma (Ganjiang) (processed, each half liang)
Indigo Naturalis (Landian) (ground, 1 fen)
The above five ingredients. Pound two ingredients into powder, mix evenly with the other three ground ingredients. Use wheat paste to form pills the size of mung beans. For use, wrap one pill in silk. Before onset, males insert into the left ear, females into the right ear. This cures the disease. Preparation should be done at noon on the fifth day of the fifth lunar month. Face north, inhale deeply seven times, then exhale onto the medicine seven times. Highly effective.
Treatment for Spleen Malaria. Tangerine Peel Powder (Jupi San)

The above five ingredients. Powdered finely. Take three qianbi per dose, mix with warm wine and take before onset. Three doses will surely cure.
Treatment for Spleen Malaria. Pinellia Powder (Banxia San)
Pinelliae Rhizoma (Banxia) (powdered, mixed with Ginger Juice to make cakes, dried)
Asafoetida (wei) (ground, each 1 qian)
The above two ingredients. Grind uniformly. Mix with half a sheng of warm wine. Take slowly before onset.
Treatment for Cold-type Malaria. Seven-Jujube Powder (Qizao San)
Aconiti Radix (Wutou) (one large piece, processed by heat for a long time, moved to another spot and processed again, repeated seven times in total, skin and umbilicus removed)
The above powdered finely. All taken as one dose. Use seven Jujubae Fructus (Zao), seven slices of Zingiberis Rhizoma Recens (Shengjiang), seven cun of Allii Fistulosi Bulbus (Congbai), and one bowl of water. Decoct together until one zhan remains. Before the disease strikes, eat the dates first, then take the medicine warm. One dose cures. Another method: Do not process Wutou. Soak one zhan of boiling water over it, cover with an object, wait until warm, soak again when warm. Repeat four times. Remove skin, slice, dry, and prepare as one dose according to the above method.
