Discussion: The condition referred to as "wind-induced immobility of the waist and legs" implies that the motor functions of the waist and lower limbs cannot operate continuously or coordinately. This is because the Liver governs the sinews (tendons), and the Kidneys govern the bones. When the Qi of the Liver and Kidneys is deficient, pathogenic Wind attacks, spreading through the sinews and bones, and wandering into the waist and legs. Consequently, the joints become dysfunctional, leading to an inability to move smoothly and continuously.
