Commentary states: The *Neijing* (Inner Canon) mentions that when clear qi descends to the lower part, it generates Sundry Diarrhea (Sunchie, diarrhea with undigested food); it also states that prolonged wind pathogen leads to Sundry Diarrhea. Spleen and Stomach belong to Earth; their qi is balanced and harmonious, functioning to transform and transport nutrients. Currently, due to the intermingling of clear and turbid qi, Wind-Cold pathogen invades the Stomach, causing the harmonious qi to fail in transformation, resulting in food being excreted intact. "Sun" refers to evening meal, as food digestion is particularly difficult in the evening; thus, when food is not digested and discharged, it is called Sundry Diarrhea, which is commonly known as "Water-Grain Dysentery."
