Discussion: The five Zang organs transform fluids; when exposed to heat, they become dry, and when exposed to cold, they flow excessively. Clear rhinorrhea from the nose, even unceasing, occurs because the Lung organ is affected by cold pathogenic factors. Cold qi ascends, thus its fluids cannot be retained or controlled as such. Moreover, nasal mucus and tears are both fluids of the nose. When flowing due to continuous weeping, it is called "Ti" (nasal discharge); because it originates from the Lung, it is called "Si" (tears/mucus). Excessive nasal discharge is called "Ti". Here, only "Ti" is mentioned, which agrees with the statement in *Xuanming Wuqi* that "the Lung produces Ti."
