Olive: Sour and sweet in taste, warm in nature, non-toxic. It primarily resolves alcohol intoxication and treats *Taitu* (poisoning from the fish *Thynnichthys thynnoides*). If one accidentally ingests the liver of this fish and experiences dizziness and coma, boiling olive juice for oral administration will certainly resolve the toxicity. When an olive wood stick is inserted into a fish, it floats to the surface, indicating that substances have mutual antagonistic properties. Ri Huazi stated: Olive opens the stomach, directs Qi downward, and relieves thirst. The *Tu Jing* stated: Consuming it raw or drinking its decoction can resolve various toxins.

It clarifies the eyes and ears. The *Yao Xing Lun* stated: Crushing sesame leaves into juice for bathing is very beneficial. Furthermore, if cattle suffer from heat injury, administering crushed juice leads to immediate recovery. Regarding cases of metrorrhagia with blood stasis and *Zhu* disease (chronic infectious disease), [text implies efficacy]. Promotes large intestine lubrication, treats retained placenta. Raw seeds: Rubbing on sores and swellings treats alopecia. Leaves: Named Qing Sesame. Sweet in taste, cold in nature, non-toxic. Chen Shiliang stated: Chewing raw sesame kernels and applying them externally treats infantile scalp sores and also treats female genital ulcers. Initially, consumption promotes bowel and bladder movement; long-term consumption obstructs it. Its function is to eliminate the old and retain the new. The *Shi Liao* stated: Moistens the five viscera, primarily treats fire-burns. Those practicing grain avoidance value it for filling the marrow and tonifying deficient Qi.

When stir-fried and crushed, the taste becomes sweet. It primarily treats stomach heat, reduces swelling, removes bi-syndrome, aids digestion, and stops abdominal distension. Ri Huazi stated: Black soybean harmonizes the middle, directs Qi downward, unblocks meridians and pulses, counteracts the toxicity of mineral drugs, and treats warm-toxin in cattle and horses.
