治气满腹胀方。
半夏（一升） 生姜（一斤） 人参（一两半） 橘皮（三两）
上四味 咀，以水七升，煮取三升，去滓，分三服。日三。（一方无人参，只三味。
治气两胁满急风冷方∶
杏仁 茯苓 防葵（各八分） 吴茱萸 橘皮 桂心 防风 泽泻（各五分） 白术 射
干
芍药 苏子 桔梗 枳实（各六分）
上十四味为末，蜜丸如梧子大，酒服十丸，日二，加至三十丸。
治气满闭塞，不能食喘息方。
诃黎勒十枚为末，蜜丸如梧子大，食后服三丸，不忌。得利即止。
治上气咳逆方∶
苏子（一升） 五味子（五合） 麻黄 细辛 紫菀 人参 黄芩 甘草（各二两） 桂
心
当归（各一两） 生姜（五两） 姜夏（三两）
上十二味 咀，以水一斗，煮取三升，分三服。
治气上不得卧神秘方∶
橘皮 生姜 紫苏 人参 五味子（各五两，一方作桔梗）
上五味 咀，以水七升，煮取三升，分三服。
治热发气上冲不得息，欲死不得卧方∶
桂心（半两） 白石英 麦冬 枳实 白藓皮 贝母 茯神 槟榔仁 天冬（各二两半）
车前子（一两） 人参 前胡 橘皮 白薇 杏仁（各一两半） 郁李仁（三两） 桃仁（五

上十七味为末，蜜丸如梧子大，以竹叶饮服十丸，日三，加至三十丸。
Formulas for treating Qi stagnation causing abdominal distension.
Banxia (Pinelliae Rhizoma), one sheng; Shengjiang (Zingiberis Rhizoma Recens), one jin; Renshen (Ginseng Radix et Rhizoma), one liang and half; Jupi (Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium), three liang.
The above four herbs are cut into pieces, boiled in seven sheng of water until reduced to three sheng, the dregs are removed, and the liquid is divided into three doses. Taken three times a day. (Another version contains no Renshen, only three herbs.)
Formula for treating Qi stagnation causing fullness and urgency in both hypochondria due to wind-cold:
Xingren (Armeniacae Semen Amarum), Fuling (Poria), Fangkui (Acanthopanacis Senticosi Radix) (each eight fen); Wuzhuyu (Evodiae Fructus), Jupi (Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium), Guixin (Cinnamomi Ramulus), Fangfeng (Saposhnikoviae Radix), Zexie (Alismatis Rhizoma) (each five fen); Baizhu (Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma), Shegan (Belamcandae Rhizoma); Shaoyao (Paeoniae Radix), Suzi (Perillae Fructus), Jiegeng (Platycodonis Radix), Zhishi (Aurantii Fructus Immaturus) (each six fen).
The above fourteen herbs are ground into powder, mixed with honey to form pills the size of mulberry seeds. Take ten pills with wine, twice a day, increasing the dose up to thirty pills.
Formula for treating Qi stagnation causing blockage, inability to eat, and panting:
Helile (Chebulae Fructus), ten fruits, ground into powder, mixed with honey to form pills the size of mulberry seeds. Take three pills after meals without dietary restrictions. Stop if diarrhea occurs.
Formula for treating rebellious Qi causing cough and asthma:
Suzi (Perillae Fructus), one sheng; Wuweizi (Schisandrae Chinensis Fructus), five he; Mahuang (Ephedrae Herba), Xixin (Asari Radix et Rhizoma), Ziwan (Asternis Radix), Renshen (Ginseng Radix et Rhizoma), Huangqin (Scutellariae Radix), Gancao (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma), Guixin (Cinnamomi Ramulus) (each two liang); Danggui (Angelicae Sinensis Radix) (one liang each); Shengjiang (Zingiberis Rhizoma Recens), five liang; Jiangxia (Pinelliae Rhizoma Preparatum), three liang.
The above twelve herbs are cut into pieces, boiled in one dou of water until reduced to three sheng, and divided into three doses.
Mysterious formula for treating rebellious Qi preventing lying down:
Jupi (Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium), Shengjiang (Zingiberis Rhizoma Recens), Zisu (Perillae Folium), Renshen (Ginseng Radix et Rhizoma), Wuweizi (Schisandrae Chinensis Fructus) (each five liang; another version uses Jiegeng instead of Wuweizi).
The above five herbs are cut into pieces, boiled in seven sheng of water until reduced to three sheng, and divided into three doses.
Formula for treating heat-induced rebellious Qi causing suffocation, extreme distress, and inability to lie down:
Guixin (Cinnamomi Ramulus), half liang; Baishiyin (Quartz), Maidong (Ophiopogonis Radix), Zhishi (Aurantii Fructus Immaturus), Baixianpi (Dictamni Cortex), Beimu (Fritillariae Bulbus), Fushen (Poria cum Pinodi), Binglangren (Arecae Semen), Tiandong (Asparagi Radix) (each two liang and half); Cheqianzi (Plantaginis Semen), one liang; Renshen (Ginseng Radix et Rhizoma), Qianhu (Peucedani Radix), Jupi (Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium), Baiwei (Clehomiae Radix), Xingren (Armeniacae Semen Amarum) (each one liang and half); Yuliren (Pruni Semen), three liang; Taoren (Persicae Semen), five fen.
The above seventeen herbs are ground into powder, mixed with honey to form pills the size of mulberry seeds. Take ten pills with an infusion of bamboo leaves, three times a day, increasing the dose up to thirty pills.
