(One treatise, nine formulas)
Treatise says: How is Blood Bi syndrome acquired? The Master said: Those who live in luxury have weak bones but abundant flesh. When they become fatigued and sweat, and while sleeping their bodies move restlessly, exposing them to slight winds, they contract this disease. The presentation resembles wind-stroke. (Chao Yuanfang's *Zhubing Yuanhou Lun* states its appearance is like being blown by a slight wind.) However, the pulse is naturally faint and choppy; the choppy quality is at the Cun Kou (radial artery at the wrist), and the Guan position is tight. Acupuncture should be used to guide Yang Qi, harmonizing the pulse so that the tightness disappears and health is restored.
