For any dwelling room, it must be tightly sealed and complete, preventing any small gaps that might allow wind-cold pathogen (Fengqi) to enter. If one slightly feels a draft, do not endure it forcibly; when sitting for a long time, one must promptly avoid the draft. Long-term residence without awareness can cause Zhongfeng (Wind Stroke). Since ancient times, those who suddenly suffer from Pianfeng (Hemiplegia), with limbs unable to move freely, or whose bodies arch backward like a bow (Jiaogong Fanzhang), or who lose their voice and cannot speak, all attribute this to negligence in sealing drafts. Once the body is struck by Wind-Stroke, various diseases accumulate, and evil qi easily takes advantage of this to cause sudden illness; nine out of ten cases result thus. Therefore, one must be extremely meticulous and not take it lightly. Be cautious, be cautious! Do not block wells or water ditches in the living quarters, as this may cause deafness and blindness.
Whether at home or traveling, if one suddenly encounters strong winds, heavy rain, thunder/lightning, darkness, or dense fog, these are caused by the movement of dragons, ghosts, and deities. One should enter the room, close the doors, burn incense, sit quietly, calm the mind, and wait until they pass before going out; otherwise, it will harm the person. Even if there is no immediate discomfort, adverse effects may arise later. Furthermore, one should not travel far during cloudy and foggy weather.
Tianzhuo Massage (Indian Massage). This is the method of the Brahmins.
Grasp both hands together and twist, similar to the hand-washing motion. Interlace fingers lightly, turning palms toward the chest. Grasp both hands together and press down, same on left and right. Mimic the action of drawing a bow, same on left and right. Mimic the action of pushing a heavy stone, same on left and right. Strike the back with hands reversed, same on left and right. Place hands on the ground, contract the body, curve the spine, and lift upward three times. Embrace the head with both hands and rotate upward; this is the Rib-Pulling technique. Sit upright, tilt the body sideways as if pushing away a mountain, same on left and right. Sit upright, extend both legs, then extend one leg forward vacuously, same on left and right. Press hands against the ground and look back; this is the Tiger-Gaze technique, same on left and right. Stand upright and twist the body backward three times. Clasp both hands tightly, place feet on the interlaced hands, same on left and right. Stand up and tread vacuously forward and backward with feet, same on left and right. Sit upright, extend both legs, place the foot previously hooked by the hand onto the knee, and press with the hand, same on left and right.
For the above eighteen postures, if an elderly person practices these sets three times daily, after one month, hundred diseases will be eliminated. They will walk and run like horses, benefiting longevity, increasing appetite, gaining clear vision and light agility, and no longer feeling fatigued.
