The *I Ching* states: "When the tiger roars, wind arises; when the dragon chants, clouds rise." This illustrates the mutual influence between sentient and non-sentient entities, confirming the efficacy of treating wind diseases without doubt.

Process the above eighteen herbs by chopping. Young and strong individuals need no decoction; elderly and deficient individuals should lightly decoct them. Place in a silk bag and soak in 2 dou of clear wine. Soak for five days in spring and summer, seven days in autumn and winter. Initially take one ge on an empty stomach; if ineffective, increase to 4-5 ge, taken three times daily. This medicine is excellent for treating bi syndrome and does not cause vomiting or oppression. If there is slight heat, drink it chilled. For severe deficiency, add Rongrong (Cistanche Deserticola) 2 liang. For diarrhea, add Nüwei (Anemarrhenae Rhizoma) 3 liang. For significant forgetfulness, add Shihu (Dendrobii Caulis), Shichangpu (Acori Tatarinowii Rhizoma), and Zhiyanshi (Pyritum) each 2 liang. For excessive fluid retention under the heart, add Fuling (Poria) and Renshen (Ginseng Radix et Rhizoma) each 2 liang, and Shuyu (Dioscoreae Rhizoma) 3 liang. After the wine is consumed, soak the dregs again in 2 dou of wine. Alternatively, dry the dregs, crush them, and take one fangcunbi (a square-inch measure) with wine, increasing the dose if necessary. One course of treatment yields results, enhancing cold resistance, tonifying deficiency, and effectively treating various wind-cold conditions.
