The above twenty-one ingredients are ground into powder, mixed with honey to form pills the size of a Chinese quince seed. Take ten pills on an empty stomach with warm water, twice daily. If ineffective, increase to twenty pills per dose until therapeutic effect is achieved. After one month of administration, various diseases will be eliminated. For the "Twelve Diseases," double the dosage of Moli, Yuyuliang, Ouieigu, Baishizhi, and Longgu. For the "Nine Pains," double the dosage of Huanglian, Bailian, Gancao, and Danggui. For the "Seven Harms," double the dosage of Xixin, Bencao, and Ganpi, and add Jiaohua (Sichuan Pepper) and Wuzhuyu (Evodia Fruit) each half liang. For the "Five Injuries," double the dosage of Dahuang, Shiwei, and Qumai. For the "Three Stagnations," double the dosage of Renshen, and add Chishizhi (Red Halloysite), Fanshi (Alum), and Bajitian (Morinda Root) each half liang. Adjust the ingredients according to the specific disease during preparation.
Treatment for the Twelve Diseases in the Abdomen of Women: First, irregular menstruation; Second, menstrual blood as thin as clear water; Third, obstructed menstruation; Fourth, bleeding outside the normal cycle; Fifth, lack of lactation after childbirth; Sixth, absolute infertility; Seventh, depletion of Yin and Yang qi and blood; Eighth, severe abdominal pain like stabbing; Ninth, coldness in the vagina; Tenth, pulling pain at the cervical os; Eleventh, menstrual blood coagulated like hibiscus juice; Twelfth, urgent lower back pain. All these twelve diseases arise from having intercourse while the menstrual flow is not yet complete or immediately after; or sleeping on damp, cold ground, and bathing with cold water, seeking momentary pleasure but subsequently causing myriad illnesses; or engaging in intercourse before sores have healed; or resuming labor too early, wearing thin clothes and sleeping on thin mats, allowing cold pathogens to enter from below.
Chishizhi (Red Halloysite), Banxia (Pinellia Tuber) [each 1 liang 6 zhu], Chuanjiao (Sichuan Pepper), Ganjiang (Dried Ginger), Wuzhuyu (Evodia Fruit), Danggui (Angelica Sinensis), Guixin (Cinnamon Twig), Danshen (Salvia Root), Bailian (Lilium Bulb), Fangfeng (Saposhnikovia Root) [each 1 liang], Lugeng (Reed Rhizome) [half liang].
The above eleven ingredients are ground into powder, mixed with honey to form pills the size of a Chinese quince seed. Take ten pills on an empty stomach daily with wine, three times a day. If ineffective, slightly increase the dosage until the desired effect is achieved.
