The above seventeen ingredients are ground into powder, mixed with honey to form pills the size of a Chinese quince seed. Take three pills before meals; if ineffective, increase to four or five pills. This medicine should not be taken continuously; discontinue upon feeling pregnant. It is highly effective (Cui's version includes Jiegeng (Radix Platycodonis) and Danshen (Radix Salviae Miltiorrhizae), each eighteen zhu).
Discussion states: In ancient times, prescriptions seeking offspring often used Qingyun San (Cloud-Forming Powder) and Chengze Wan (Moistening Pill), but contemporary people no longer use them. Although untested by me, their methods are worthy of respect, so I record them here.

Fupenzi (Fructus Rubi Chingii), Wuweizi (Fructus Schisandrae Chinensis) [each one sheng], Tianxiong (Radix Aconiti Kusnezoffii), Shihu (Caulis Dendrobii), Baizhu (Rhizoma Atractylodis Macrocephalae) [each three liang], Sangjisheng (Ramulus Taxilli), Tianmendong (Rhizoma Asparagi), Zhiyuanshi (Mineral Haematitum) [two liang], Tusizi (Semen Cuscutae) [one sheng].
The above nine ingredients are processed and sifted into powder. Take one fangcun bi (a square inch measure) with wine before meals, three times daily. For those who generally cannot tolerate cold, remove Sangjisheng and add Xixin four liang. For those with sufficient Yang Qi but unable to conceive, remove Shihu and add Binglang (Areca Seed) fifteen pieces; this is effective.

The above six ingredients are ground into powder, mixed with honey to form pills the size of a soybean. Take two pills before meals, three times daily. Increase dosage slightly if ineffective. If there are no hard masses or accumulations in the abdomen, remove Tingchang and add Tongcao (Medulla Tetrapanacis) one liang. For those who dislike sweetness, mix the powder with Cujiu (Vinegar) first, then add a small amount of honey to form pills.
