According to *Zhubing Yuanhou Lun* (Treatise on the Pathogenesis and Symptoms of All Diseases): Heat in the stomach, combined with food entering the stomach, causes qi to rebel upward, resulting in vomiting. Alternatively, excessive water intake after vomiting or diarrhea may lead to deficiency-cold in the stomach, also causing vomiting. (From Volume 9)

Qianhu (Peucedani Radix, 1 liang), Maimendong (Ophiopogonis Radix, 3 liang, heart removed), Zhuru (Bambusae Caulis in Taeniam, 2 liang), Ju pi (Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium, 1 liang), Gancao (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma, 1 liang, honey-fried), Shengjiang (Zingiberis Rhizoma Recens, 2 liang), Shengdihuang (Rehmanniae Radix Recens, 4 liang, sliced).
The above seven herbs are sliced, decocted in 7 sheng of water until reduced to 2 sheng and 3 he, strained to remove dregs, and taken warm in three divided doses. One dose is administered at intervals corresponding to walking for six or seven li. Avoid consuming Haizao (Sargassum Herba), Songcai (Brassica rapa var. pekinensis), Wuyi (Chrysanthemi Indici Flos), hot wheat noodles, pork, dog meat, and greasy foods. (From Volume 1)

Although I have not used it, I suspect it is too warming. Therefore, I adjusted the dosages, treating over ten patients who all recovered. Avoid Haizao (Sargassum Herba), Songcai (Brassica rapa var. pekinensis), raw scallions, and raw vegetables. (From Volume 1)
