Beji therapy for treating various... prescriptions.
Take *Tinglizi* (Descurainiae Semen Lepidii Seminis) [Lepidium seed], crush and sift through a fine sieve, mix with high-quality white honey to form pills. When preparing to apply the medicine, first wash with warm rice-washing water, insert the pill into the ulcer crater, and pack it in. If the opening is blocked, use an object to keep it open. Apply three times daily. When the pain subsides, it indicates recovery; do not stop the medication. It is highly effective. (From Volume 5.)
Bixiao therapy for treating various... prescriptions.
First wash with clarified warm rice-washing water, wipe dry with cotton. Take *Kuiye* (Malvae Folium) [Hollyhock leaf], warm it slightly over fire, and apply as a patch to draw out pus. It takes no more than three to two hundred leaves. Once the pus is completely discharged, flesh will regenerate. Chancellor Wang frequently used this with miraculous efficacy.
Pathogenesis: When a person's armpits emit an odor resembling scallions and fermented soybeans, or some say resembling foxes, it is called "Fox Odor" (Hu Chou). This is caused by disharmony and accumulation of blood and qi, resulting in foul odor. (From Volume 31.)

Do not claim that one application cures it; that is merely temporary relief during the application period. Patients with Fox Odor must universally avoid eating *Yuntao* (Rapeseed) and *Wuxin* (Five Pungent Spices); otherwise, treatment will never succeed throughout life. This is a prescription for Fox Odor.
