Apply black fungus (*Auricularia auricula-judae*) directly to the lesion; it will naturally rot and fall off without pain. It is advisable to soak the black fungus in hot water until soft before use.
Formula from *Shen Shi Fang* for treating **Fissure of Hands and Feet** (Chilblains/Cracked skin).
Take four *he* (a traditional Chinese unit of volume) of Sichuan pepper (*Zanthoxylum bungeanum*). Boil in one *sheng* (a traditional Chinese unit of volume) of water for seven boils. Remove the dregs and soak the hands or feet. After about the time it takes to eat a meal, take them out and dry them. Soak again after a short while. Applying sheep or pig bone marrow (*Su Nao* / *Yang Nao*) is especially effective. (Same as Fan Wang's formula, excerpted from Volume 29)
Formula from *Ji Yan Fang* for treating **Fissure of Hands and Feet** with bleeding and pain.

Formula from *Ji Yan Fang* for removing **Verruca Vulgaris**.
On the seventh day of the seventh lunar month, take one *ge* (a small measure) of soybeans (*Da Dou*). Rub the wart three times. Have the patient plant the bean in the second position from the east end of a south-facing house. When the bean sprouts four leaves, scald it to death with hot water; the wart will then fall off. (Same as *Qian Jin*, *Zhou Hou*, and Fan Wang's formulas)
