The *Zhouhou Beiji Fang* records the herbal method of Immortal Yao for entering mountains. Although there are many herbs to repel snakes, only Realgar (Xionghuang) from Wudu is considered superior. (There is also) Ri Hui (a plant/herb), and within exorcistic methods, there are simple ones used singly with easy efficacy. Now, several items are listed, but one must receive the transmission first before practicing; otherwise, upon arriving at the mountain pass and standing still, visualize the heads of five snakes, then use an object to pierce it while relaxing the breath, turn left two steps, and imagine thousands of centipedes covering the body so that walking is fearless.
