Slugs (one piece) are wrapped in fine linen cloth. Apply to the affected area. Effective after two applications. Additionally, Phellodendri Cortex (Huangbai, 黄柏) (powder), Green Moss (Qingtai, 青苔) (each one qian), and Borneol (Bingpian, 冰片) (one fen) are ground into a fine powder and applied.

Sophorae Flavescentis Radix (Kushen, 苦参) (one liang) and Alum (Ku Fan, 枯矾) (one qian) are ground into powder. Wipe three times daily. Curable. Additionally, apply Alum.
Additionally, Chinese Gall (Wubeizi, 五倍子) (calcined to retain its nature) is ground into powder and applied. Additionally, Baicaoshuang (Soot from the stove bottom, 百草霜). Stops bleeding. Additionally, Soybean Dregs (Huangdouzha, 黄豆渣) (i.e., the residue from yellow soybean milk taken in tofu shops, calcined with horse manure until its nature remains). Applied, it heals immediately.
Calaminite (Luganshi, 炉甘石) (ground) and Gypsum Fibrosum (Shigao, 石膏) (equal parts) are wiped daily. Do not brush. Over time, they will naturally become tight.
Salted Plum (Yanmei, 盐梅) is rubbed on the teeth. When saliva flows out, it opens (referring to relief of swelling or loosening).
Male Rat Spine (Xiongshu Jigu, 雄鼠脊骨) is ground into powder. Rub the broken area daily. It will regenerate within one month. Additionally, Male and Female Chicken Droppings (Cixiong Jishi, 雌雄鸡屎) (each fifteen grains) are roasted and ground. Add Borneol (Bingpian, 冰片) (one fen). Glutinous Rice Sugar (Nuomitang, 糯米糖) is burned to obtain white ash. Wipe every morning.
Chinese Gall (Wubeizi, 五倍子) (one liang), Malachite (Tonglü, 铜绿) (three qian, roasted red and quenched with vinegar; vinegar should not be excessive; roast and quench repeatedly for three times, then grind), Vitriol (Qingfan, 青矾) (two qian, ground), Raw Salt (Shengyan, 生盐) (five fen, roasted). First, grind the Chinese Gall finely. Stir-fry in a copper pot until oil comes out and forms a clump. Spread on the ground to cool. Then grind all other medicines finely. Mix with good distilled liquor (Shaojiu, 烧酒) to form a paste-like consistency. Steam until it has a mirror-like sheen. Do not steam for too long. First, wash the hair/beard once with Soap Pod (Zaojiao, 皂角) water, then wash once with tea. Apply the medicine while hot and thick. Wait until dry, then wash off with hot water. The beard becomes smooth and glossy like lacquer, remaining white-free for two months. Additionally, Peanut Kernel (Luohuasheng Jingrou, 落花生净肉) is roasted until extremely charred and ground extremely fine. Dip in water and rub the beard. Over time, it will naturally turn black.
Additionally, when Sour Pomegranate (Suan Shiliu, 酸石榴) bears fruit, select one large fruit from a branch facing southeast. Place Mercury (Shuiyin, 水银) (five qian) inside through the top. Seal with the original skin. Tie tightly with hemp. Protect with cow dung. Wait until after frost, then pick. Pour out the water from inside the shell. Use fish (Yu, 鱼) dipped in water to rub the beard. Over time, it will naturally turn black.
