【Skull Fracture and Bone Break】
Mix honey and scallion white (Congbai) thoroughly by pounding. Apply thickly for immediate effect. (This medicine must not be taken orally.)

Grind Dalbergiae Odoriferae Lignum (Jiangxiang, Rosewood) into powder and apply it. Wrap with silk floss. Avoid contact with water and exposure to wind for seven days. One application will lead to recovery. Alternatively, grind Sappan Lignum (Sumu, Sappan Wood) into extremely fine powder. Sprinkle it on the reconnected broken finger and secure it. Wrap and bind firmly with silkworm cocoon externally. It will return to normal within a few days.

Mix wheat flour (Baimian) and roasted salt (Shaoyan) (a pinch of each) with freshly drawn well water and apply. Also, for swelling due to tetanus (Poshangfeng): Pound Semen Armeniacae Amarum (Xingren, Bitter Apricot Seed) into a paste and apply thickly. Light a candle and warm it from a distance.

Apply ash of Rhizoma Cyrtomii (Guanzhong, Cyrtomium Rhizome) mixed with oil. It relieves pain immediately.

Mix and apply with aged wheat flour (Chenmian). Alternatively, apply crab shell ash (Xiekehui) mixed with sesame oil (Mayou). Alternatively, grind raw Gypsum Fibrosum (Hanshuishi, Gypsum) into fine powder and mix with oil for application. Alternatively, pound fresh leaves of Platycladi Cacumen (Baiyesong, Chinese Arborvitae Twig) and fresh cypress branches (Xian Baizhi) together, then mix with sesame oil (Xiangyou) for application.

Stir-fry Hordei Fructus Germinatus (Damai, Barley Sprout) until black, grind into powder, and mix with oil for application. Alternatively, apply Hibisci Mutabilis Folium (Furongye, Cottonrose Hibiscus Leaf) powder mixed with oil. Alternatively, pound fresh Radix Raphani (Luobo, Radish) and apply. (Alternatively, its seeds can be ground into powder for application.) Alternatively, mix Cinnabaris (Chensha, Cinnabar) powder with egg white (Jiziqing) and apply. Alternatively, apply ash of an old calabash gourd ladle (Jiuhulupiao). Alternatively, apply powder of bamboo borers (Zhuzhongzhuchong). Alternatively, mix vinegar (Cu) and oil for application. Alternatively, apply fresh, warm cow dung (Xinre Niufen). Alternatively, burn willow bark (Liupi) into ash and apply like powder.

Roast a turtle head (Bietou) until its properties are preserved, grind into powder, and mix with sesame oil (Xiangyou) for application. Alternatively, wash away the filthy blood with child's urine (Tongbian) (or rice-washing water can also be used). (Even if the pain causes unconsciousness, endure and wash clean.) Apply human feces (Renfen). (Or decoct Feces Hominis (Renzhonghuang, Human Yellow) into a broth for frequent washing.) Alternatively, chew leaves of white radish (Bailuoboye) and apply. Alternatively, apply watery chicken droppings (Tangjishi).

Pound earthworms (Tucan) and apply. Alternatively, mix equal parts of Realgar (Xionghuang), Sulfur (Liuhuang), and Fluoritum (Zishiying, Fluorite) into powder and apply. Alternatively, pound tender pine needles (Nen Songmao) until mashed like mud. Apply to cover the wound completely. Extremely effective.

Cut Herba Leonuri (Yimucao, Motherwort Herb), stir-fry with vinegar, grind, and apply.

Rub with Rhizoma Pinelliae (Banxia, Pinellia Tuber) powder. Alternatively, chew Folium Perillae (Zisuye, Perilla Leaf) and apply. Alternatively, pour woman's urine (Furen Niao) over it. Alternatively, chew Semen Ginkgo (Baiguoren, Ginkgo Seed) and apply. Alternatively, apply flesh of Litchi Semen (Lizhihou, Lychee Seed). Alternatively, pound Castaneae Semen (Lizi, Chestnut) and apply.

Chew sweet Semen Armeniacae Amarum (Tian Xingren, Sweet Apricot Seed) (peeled and tips removed) until pasty and apply. Alternatively, apply goose droppings (Eshi). Prevents ulceration and pain.

Wash with a decoction of Herba Menthae (Bohe, Field Mint). Or wash with a decoction of Pericarpium Zanthoxyli (Chuanjiao, Sichuan Pepper).

Burn aged ham (Chen Huotui) into ash. Mix with sesame oil (Xiangyou) and apply. Alternatively, knead and apply cat feces (Maoshi).

Apply ginger (Jiang) powder. Change when dry.

Apply juice from freshly pounded celery (Qincai). Alternatively, pound leaves of Lablab Semen Album (Bai Biandou, White Hyacinth Bean) and apply. Alternatively, apply basic copper carbonate (Tongqing, Verdigris). Alternatively, take a lump of comb dirt (Shugou), mix with urine (Niao), and apply. Alternatively, apply human feces (Renfen).
