Apply Sesame Oil (Sesami Oleum). Additionally, cover the painful area with a wooden bowl. Recovery occurs after half a day.
Apply soot from a tobacco pipe to the affected area.
Chew Cyperi Rhizoma (Xiangfu) and apply it. Alternatively, chew Piperis Fructus (Hujiao) and seal it on the lesion; pain ceases immediately.
Apply human milk. Alternatively, rub with Amaranthus viridis (Yexian). Or mash the stem of Colocasia esculenta (Yutou geng) and apply as a poultice.
Apply slices of Zingiberis Rhizoma Preparatum (Paojiang). Alternatively, wash with hot sweet wine.
Mix Mustard Seed (Jiecaizi) powder with wine to form a thick paste for application. Pain stops within half a day. Alternatively, apply slices of Allium sativum (Suan).
Apply vinegar mixed with Calcined Lime (Duanshi).
Smoke with a lamp wick. Alternatively, soak Perilla Folium (Zisu) in Sesame Oil and apply.
(Also known as Fire Banana) The thorn of *Urtica ferox* (Wulongci) enters the mud. If a person steps on it with their foot, it is more toxic than a snake bite. If swelling extends to the abdomen and belly, there is no medicine available. Take several maggots from human feces, mash them, and apply to the affected area. Once swelling subsides and the thorn is expelled, recovery occurs.
Decoct Leonurus Herba (Yimucao) to wash the lower abdomen. Alternatively, take fourteen *Cipangopaludina chinensis* (Guiluosi) found in yin/damp places, crush them, spread on oiled paper, and apply to the umbilicus, binding tightly for one week.
For amenorrhea, stir-fry Bombyx Batryticatus (Can Sha) with wine and apply heat (moxibustion/ironing). For amenorrhea where pressing the abdomen feels like a mass, smear blood of *Monopterus albus* (Shanyu xue) in a circle around the affected area according to its size. Separately, mix five qian of Bai Cao Shuang (soot from kitchen chimney) and one red-skinned single-clove garlic (Dusu), mash together, and apply inside the circle. When an garlic taste is felt in the mouth, wipe it off.
Dry four liang of Perilla Folium (Zisu) in the shade. Wait for the menstrual period. If there is abdominal distension and pain, decoct and fumigate/wash the lower part, and massage the lower abdomen. Massage and wash three or four times during each menstruation; when menstruation becomes regular, pain stops.
A woman, due to opening a steamer and being scalded by steam, suffers from facial swelling and amenorrhea. Use old steaming cloth (the older the better), burn to ash, and use water collected from the steam under the pot lid [Note: Text appears fragmented here].
Mash Radix Aucklandiae (Muxiang) and Radix Rehmanniae Preparata (Sheng Dihuang) into a cake, apply to the lesion, and iron with a heating iron. (Also treats swollen nodules).
Crude Alum (Kufan) and Lead Tetroxide (Huandan), five qian each, grind finely, wrap in cotton silk, apply Sesame Oil to the silk surface, tie into a ball with thread, pass through the upper end of a bamboo tube. Insert into the vaginal introitus while lying supine. Withdraw the bamboo tube after the time it takes for one incense stick to burn. Bleeding stops. Then pull out the thread and remove the medicinal ball. Alternatively, burn lacquerware and inhale the smoke. Or sit on an old felt strip. Or fumigate with burned black donkey dung. In critical cases, wrap Huandan and Lead Carbonate (Qianfen) in silk, insert into the vagina, and secure with a thread.
