Frequently rub the affected area with fresh ginger (Zingiberis Rhizoma Recens).
Apply leech blood (Hirudo, 蚂蟥血) or eel blood.
For Zidianfeng (Purple Spots Wind, i.e., Tinea Versicolor): Sulfur (Sulfur), Qingfen (Calomel, Mercurous Chloride), Miduoseng (Litharge, Lead Monoxide), Banmao (Mustard Beetle, *Mylabris phalerata*, processed to retain its nature), and Zhangnao (Borneol, Camphor) in equal parts. Grind them into an extremely fine powder. When sweating occurs, dip old ginger (Zingiberis Rhizoma Recens) into the powder and rub the affected area. Wash it off after two or three days to eradicate the root cause; this is highly effective. Alternatively, grind Miduoseng (Litharge) into powder and rub with cucumber stalks (Cucumis Sativus Caulis); this is also effective.
Water buffalo meat jerky (50 g, roasted), Fulonggan (Dragon's House Earth, dried mud from under a stove), Yiketu (Swallow's Nest Soil), Feimian (Fine Wheat Flour) (each 100 g), and Pi Huang (Arsenic Trioxide, raw arsenic) (3 g). Make water pills. Rub onto the painful area.
Yinchenhao (Artemisiae Scopariae Herba) two handfuls. Add 15 sheng of water, boil down to 7 sheng. First wash with Sophora flower soup (Sophorae Flos Decoction), then wash with this decoction. Reheat if it cools down. Use every other day; otherwise, pain may occur.
Jianshi Teng (Akebiae Caulis), Huajiao (Zanthoxypi Fructus), Kufan (Alumen Exsiccatum). Decoct and wash with the cooled liquid.
Rub the affected area with Duihua rice wine (Duihua Jiu), and pat with hands until bluish discoloration appears, indicating recovery. Alternatively, mash wild ramie (Boehmeriae Niveae Folium) and Chuan Nanxing (Arisaematis Cum Bile Rhizoma) together and apply as a poultice. Or, mix peach leaves (Persicae Folium) and loose hair for rubbing. Or, make a cake from Gardenia fruit (Gardeniae Fructus), peach branches (Persicae Ramulus), and fine wheat flour (Feimian), apply to the affected area, and iron it with a hot iron.
Take leaves of Phytolaccae Radix (Shanglu Cao), add a little salt, mash, and apply to the affected area; it will heal spontaneously. Alternatively, make knee pads from Chrysanthemi Indici Flos (Ganjuhua) and aged mugwort leaves (Artemisiae Argyi Folium) and wear them regularly to prevent dampness diseases.
Shechuangzi (Cnidii Fructus) (1000 g), Fangfeng (Saposhnikoviae Radix) (90 g), Sheng Jili (Tribuli Fructus) (1000 g). Cut the three herbs, add 10 sheng of water, boil down to 5 sheng. Soak the affected area four to five times a day. Alternatively, Baizhu (Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma) (90 g), Rongyan (Natrii Sulfas), Huanglian (Coptidis Rhizoma), Huangqin (Scutellariae Radix), Chuanxiong (Ligustici Chuanxiong Rhizoma), Xixin (Asari Radix et Rhizoma), Mangcao (Polygoni Avicularis Herba), Yinyu (Epimedii Folium), and Fanshi (Alumen) (15 g). Cut the above nine herbs, add 10 sheng of water, boil down to 3 sheng, and use for washing three times a day. Alternatively, take Zhishi (Aurantii Fructus Immaturus), soak in vinegar until hot, adjust to a suitable temperature, and iron the affected area until the swelling dissipates.
Jingtian (also known as Shenhuocao, Sedum Sarmentosum) (500 g). Mash and squeeze out the juice, apply to the affected area, heat and roast, and massage repeatedly with hands until recovery.
Mix Duan Shi (Ferrum Oxidatum) with sauce water and apply; it will heal. Alternatively, apply Magnolia nitrate water (Xiaoshaoshui).
This condition resembles Stroke (Zhong Feng), presenting with deviation and closure of the mouth and eyes, and sounds in the throat. Blow Xixin (Asari Radix et Rhizoma) powder into the nose; sneezing will restore consciousness. Do not administer oral medication, as it will be fatal. Also, do not let the patient smell ginger (Zingiberis Rhizoma Recens). Alternatively, spray urine towards the patient's mouth.
