Croton seed (Ba Dou) is mashed. Wrapped in cotton paper. Pressed to extract the oil, which is then ignited. The smoke from the burning oil is wafted into the nostrils for a moment. Recovery occurs once phlegm and blood are vomited out. Alternatively, take raw Pinellia Rhizoma powder (Sheng Ban Xia), sized like a bean, and insufflate it into both nostrils.
Raw Aconite Lateralis Radix Preparata (Sheng Fu Zi) and garlic cloves are boiled in vinegar. Mashed into a cake. Applied to Yongquan (KI 1, Sole of the Foot). If thirst occurs, do not drink tea immediately. (For application in Cold Strike and Wind Stroke)
The white root of Allium fistulosum (Cong Bai Tou, Scallion White Root) (20-30 pieces). Slightly mashed and stir-fried in a pan until hot. When slightly warm, apply to the chest center (Danzhong area). Accumulated phlegm will naturally discharge shortly.
Gleditsiae Sinensis Fructus Spina (Zao Jiao) (500g), Raw Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma (Sheng Gan Cao) (30g), Codonopsis Radix (Dang Shen) (25g), and Carbonis Cinnamomi (Bai Cao Shuang) (15g). Decocted with aged wine into a paste. At the time of use, mix with ginger juice and apply to the neck. Named Hei Long Gao (Black Dragon Paste).
Corydalis Rhizoma (Yan Hu Suo) (6g), Gleditsiae Sinensis Fructus Spina Ya Zao (Ya Zao) (14 pods), Indigo Naturalis (Qing Dai) (2g), and Moschus (She Xiang) (0.3g). Made into pills with clear water. Named Qing Jin Ding (Blue Gold Pill). Treats Wind Stroke, Convulsions, and Tonsillitis (Ru E). At the time of use, grind with water and drip into the nostrils. For all phlegm-heat conditions, it can be ground and applied to the heart region.
Croton seed (Ba Dou) (1 seed). Ground into powder. Wrapped in silk fabric. Sniff several times daily.
Calculus Bovis (Niu Huang), Cinnabaris (Zhu Sha) (each 0.3g), Borax (Bing Pian) (0.15g), and Moschus (She Xiang) (0.09g). Extract the gallbladder from a toad (Bufo bufo gargarizans or similar). Mix with the above four powders and grind finely. Puncture the affected area with a sharp point and apply the medicine. Phlegm will promptly descend downwards. Excellent effect.
Calcanis Vitrioli (Dan Fan) from duck tongue. Preserve its nature and grind into powder. Use 3g at each onset. Insufflate into the nostrils with a pen tube. Recovery occurs when saliva discharges.
(Attached: Yellow Edema and Black Jaundice)
The body turns yellow like gold. Or accompanied by swelling and vomiting. Or eyes also turn yellow. Urgently use thin grass paper, roll it around a pen tube like a firecracker. Seal one end tightly with paper. Melt yellow wax (in a copper vessel) and pour evenly around the paper tube. Ensure no wax enters the tube. Have the patient lie supine. Cover the navel with the wax tube (sealed end facing down). Make a circle of flour paste to protect the base of the tube. Prevent the tube from falling over or leaking air. Ignite the top of the tube. Burn until reaching the flour paste circle at the base. Remove and replace with another tube to continue burning. Observe if yellow fluid resembling egg yolk emerges from the navel; remove when found. Mild cases require burning 7-8 tubes. Severe cases require dozens of tubes. Burn twice daily. The goal is to exhaust all yellow fluid. Patients with this condition have golden-colored bodies, generalized edema, and immediate vomiting upon eating. Ineffective against all other medicines. Treating according to this method results in complete recovery in three days. Truly an immortal prescription. (Note: This condition is divided into Yin Jaundice and Yang Jaundice. This method is most excellent for treating Yin Jaundice.) Additionally, grind Bletilla Rhizoma (Ku Ding Xiang) into fine powder. Insufflate into the nostrils. Yellow fluid will discharge from the nose within an instant. Stop when the fluid is exhausted. Insufflate again after three days for complete recovery. (Insufflation differs by gender: left for males, right for females; also treats Black Jaundice.) Also, use one green-backed crucian carp (Qing Bei Ji Yu). Add Amomum Fruit (Sha Ren) (30g) and refined sugar (a pinch). Mash together. Place inside a clam shell. Cover the navel. Effective overnight. Also, use one male crucian carp (remove head and bones, use only two pieces of back meat). Pepper (one grain per year of age up to ten grains, ground fine). Moschus (She Xiang) (0.9g). Pound the latter two ingredients. To prevent sticking to KT [likely a typo for skin or container], fill clam shells completely. Apply to the patient's navel. Bind tightly with silk cloth. Recovery in one day and night. Also, mash fresh Arisaema Cum Baccis (Hu Zhang Cao, i.e., Arisaema leaves). Place in a teacup. Cover the navel, about one cun away. Secure with a sweat towel forming a bubble. Pierce from below with a silver needle. Yellow fluid will gradually flow out. Self-healing occurs when the fluid is exhausted. If fresh herbs are unavailable...
