This sore appears on the glans penis. Initially, blisters appear with slight itching, followed by skin rupture and fluid discharge. At the onset, fumigate and wash with Xunxi Decoction (Fumigation and Washing Decoction), apply Taisui Mo (Taisui Ink) to the lesion, and it will heal; if unfortunately the condition spreads, take Zhongjiu Wan (Nine-Pill of the Middle) internally and apply Gezhi Gao (Paper-Interposed Plaster) externally. After pain subsides, sprinkle Jiawei Tianran San (Modified Natural Powder) until the tissue turns red and vibrant, at which point healing occurs. If the tissue remains non-red and pain persists, fumigate with the following prescription: Qianshui (Mercurius, 1 qian), Zhusha (Cinnabaris, 1 qian), Shexiang (Moschus, 0.5 fen), Xinghong (Safflower, 1 qian), Xiangxi (Tin, 1 qian). First, melt the tin in a small iron pot over charcoal fire, add Qianshui and stir evenly until it becomes powder-like. Then add Baicaoshuang (Soot from Kitchen Chimney, 1 qian), grind all medicines into fine powder, divide into three portions. Take Anxixiang (Benzoin, three branches), soak them wet, pair each branch with one portion of medicine, roll in cotton paper into strips, making three strips total. When using, ignite one strip, inhale the smoke into the nose, hold pure water full in the mouth, replace when hot; the more frequent, the better. During fumigation, the patient should sit in a wind-sheltered place to prevent wind from scattering the smoke, hindering inhalation; if water is not changed frequently, throat and tooth pain (i.e., oral inflammation) will surely occur—be cautious! Fumigating daily for about six or seven days leads to recovery.
This sore also appears on the glans penis, either on the left or right, with severe pain and ulcerative cracking of the affected area. If not treated early and rotting extends to the root of the yin organ, only one in ten may recover. The treatment method is the same as for Candle Gangrene (Lazhu Gan): take Zhongjiu Wan internally, use Xunxi Decoction for washing and fumigation, and sprinkle Tianran San to promote flesh regeneration and flatten the wound edges.
This sore occurs inside the urethra within the penis. The penile shaft swells and hardens; after prolonged duration, white purulent exudate is discharged from the tube, accompanied by stinging pain during urination. Physicians often mistakenly treat this as Lin Syndrome (Strangury Syndrome), resulting in ineffective repeated treatments. The origin of this sore is mostly due to excessive alcohol and sexual activity, or weak constitution with hyperactive fire, holding back ejaculation repeatedly, causing accumulation of retrograde semen, leading to this condition. The treatment involves taking Zhongjiu Wan internally, combined with diuretic agents: Mutong (Akebiae Caulis), Huashi (Talcum), Qumai (Diantherae Herba), Pianxu (Polygoni Avicularis Herba), Cheqian (Plantaginis Semen), Chao Zhi (Stir-fried Gardenia Fruit), Gancao (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma) (each 7 fen), Zhuling (Polyporus), Zexie (Alismatis Rhizoma) (each 5 fen), Baizhu (Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma), Qiuniu (Pharbitidis Semen) (each 6 fen), Rougui (Cinnamomi Cortex, 3 qian), Tongcao (Tetrapanacis Medulla), Dengxincao (Junci Medulla) as guide. Decoct with water and take on an empty stomach. Additionally, decoct Xunxi Decoction strongly to make a large bowl; when warm, immerse the glans penis in the jar to allow medicinal vapor to enter the urethral canal (if using modern methods, injecting the solution into the urethra for washing is even better). Then insert the following small medicine into the penis: Wubeizi (Galla Chinensis, one piece), make a small hole, fill with Mingfan (Alumen) powder, cover with a piece of bowl shard, wrap externally with medicinal mud. Slowly dry the mud with low heat, then burn in charcoal fire until cracks appear and smoke rises. Remove, cool, remove mud, grind Wubeizi and Mingfan into powder, roll in cotton paper into strips, coat with wheat paste, attach powder to strips, air-dry, and insert into the penis. Change twice daily; within seven or eight days, the penile ailment will be cleared, and pus production will cease. Then use Jiawei Tianran San to regenerate flesh and flatten the wound. Apply Tianran San using the previous method: stick the powder onto wheat-paste paper strips and insert into the penis to promote healing. Avoid "fa wu" (stimulating foods), and take Zhongjiu Wan internally to assist. Another treatment method uses Musli (Ostreae Concha, 1 qian), Bailianxu (Nelumbinis Stamen), Danpi (Moutan Cortex), Zaopi (Corni Fructus), Fuling (Poria), Qianshi (Euryales Semen) (each 1 liang), Zexie (5 qian), Dihuang (Rehmanniae Radix, 2 liang) (for those with weak spleen and stomach, add Baizhu 1 liang, Zhishi (Aurantii Fructus Immaturus, 1 liang), Maidong (Ophiopogonis Radix, 1 qian). Grind all into powder, refine honey to make pills the size of wutong seeds. Take 70-80 pills per dose, concurrently take Zhongjiu Wan and Sanxiang Wan (Three-Musk Pills). Externally use the following sprinkling medicine: Huangbai (Phellodendri Cortex, 1 liang), peel and wash clean. Use one pig gallbladder: heat Huangbai skin, dip in pig bile, repeat heating and dipping, then grind into fine powder for reserve.
