眉 生两眉间。形如疥癣。属肝胆二经热。用柴胡栀子散。因乳母食浓味醇酒者。加味清胃饮。由郁怒
者。加味逍遥散。母子同服。
面疮 煎盐汤。浸绵花。贴之洗之。日五七次。
一用鲫鱼头烧。存性为末。酱内清汁调敷。
面浮肿及阴囊浮肿者 使君子肉一两。白蜜五钱。炙干为末。每服一二钱。米饮调服。
摩风膏 治面游风毒。
麻黄（五钱） 羌活（一两） 防风（二钱） 升麻（二钱） 归身 白檀香 白芨（各一钱） 香油（五两）
浸五日。文火 。药黄。即去渣。入黄蜡五钱溶化。
肺风由肺经血热郁滞不行而生酒刺也。宜枇杷清肺散。或用荷叶煮糊为丸。白滚水服。外用白矾末。
酒化涂之。
枇杷清肺散 治肺风酒刺。
枇杷叶 桑白皮（鲜者更佳各二钱） 黄连 黄柏（各一钱） 人参 甘草（各三分）
用水钟半。煎七分。食远服。
黧黑斑多生女子之面。由血弱不华。火燥结成。疑事不决所致。宜服肾气丸以滋化源。洗玉容散。兼戒
忧思方可。一云风邪入皮肤。痰饮渍腑脏。则面 。又当随其因而调之也。一用密陀僧为细末。入
乳调敷。鹿角尖用酒磨涂之。

雀斑由水亏不能制火。火滞结而成斑也。宜六味地黄丸服之。用玉容散洗之。久久可愈。
玉容散 洗黧黑斑雀斑粉刺。功能白面嫩肌。
白芷 白术 白芨 白茯苓 白扁豆 白细辛 白僵蚕 白莲蕊 白牵牛 白蔹 白鸽冀 甘松
团粉 加白丁香 白附子 鹰条（等分） 防风 荆芥穗 羌活 独活（减半）
共末。罐收。日洗三次。
一醋浸白术擦之。半月验。
六味地黄丸（见首卷）
Mouth area sores appearing between the eyebrows, resembling scabies or tinea, are attributed to heat in the Liver and Gallbladder meridians. Use Chaihu Zhizi San (Bupleurum and Gardenia Powder). If caused by the nursing mother consuming rich flavors and strong wine, use Jiawei Qingwei Yin (Modified Stomach-Clearing Drink). If caused by depression and anger, use Jiawei Xiaoyao San (Modified Free and Easy Wanderer Powder). Both mother and infant should take the medicine together.
Facial acne: Soak cotton in boiled salt water, apply as a compress and wash the affected area five to seven times daily.
Alternatively: Burn carp heads until carbonized but retaining their nature, grind into powder, and mix with clear sauce juice for topical application.
For facial edema and scrotal edema: Take one liang of Semen Quisqualis (Shijunzi), five qian of White Honey (Baimi), dry by roasting, and grind into powder. Take one to two qian per dose, mixed with rice water.
Mofeng Gao (Wind-Massaging Paste): Treats toxic wind wandering on the face.
Ingredients: Ephedrae Herba (Mahuang, 麻黄) (five qian), Notopterygii Rhizoma et Radix (Qianghuo, 羌活) (one liang), Saposhnikoviae Radix (Fangfeng, 防风) (two qian), Cimicifugae Rhizoma (Shengma, 升麻) (two qian), Radix Angelicae Sinensis (Guishen, 归身), Santali Albi Lignum (Baitanxiang, 白檀香), Rhizoma Bletillae (Baiji, 白芨) (each one qian). Soak in five liang of Sesame Oil (Xiangyou) for five days. Simmer over gentle fire until the herbs turn yellow, then remove the dregs. Add five qian of Beeswax (Huangla) and melt.
Feifeng (Lung Wind) arises from blood heat stagnation in the Lung meridian, resulting in alcoholic acne (Jiuci). It is suitable to take Pipa Qingfei San (Loquat Leaf and Lung-Clearing Powder). Alternatively, make pills using paste prepared from boiling Nelumbinis Folium (Heye, 荷叶), and swallow with plain boiled water. Externally, apply powder of Alum (Baifan, 白矾) dissolved in wine.
Pipa Qingfei San (Loquat Leaf and Lung-Clearing Powder): Treats Feifeng (Lung Wind) and alcoholic acne.
Ingredients: Folium Eriobotryae (Pipaye, 枇杷叶), Cortex Morus Albae (Sangbaipi, 桑白皮) (fresh is better, each two qian), Rhizoma Coptidis (Huanglian, 黄连), Cortex Phellodendri (Huangbai, 黄柏) (each one qian), Radix Ginseng (Renshen, 人参), Radix Glycyrrhizae (Gancao, 甘草) (each three fen). Decoct half zhong of water until reduced to seven-tenths. Take far after meals.
Lihei Ban (Dark Spots) mostly occur on women's faces. They result from weak blood failing to nourish the skin, combined with fire-dryness condensation, and are suspected to be caused by indecisiveness regarding matters. It is suitable to take Shenqi Wan (Kidney Qi Pill) to nourish the source of transformation, combined with washing with Yurong San (Jade-Face Powder), while avoiding worry and thought. Another view suggests that wind pathogens invading the skin and phlegm-fluids soaking the zang-fu organs cause dark spots on the face; treatment should follow the specific cause. Another method: Grind Metallonitrum (Mituo seng, 密陀僧) into fine powder, mix with milk for application. Rub the tips of Deer Antler (Lu jiao jian, 鹿角尖) ground in wine onto the area.
Shenqi Wan (see Chuangyang Men); Yurong San (see Qieban).
Qieban (Freckles) are formed due to Yin fluid deficiency failing to control Fire, leading to Fire stagnation and condensation into spots. It is suitable to take Liuwei Dihuang Wan (Six-Ingredient Rehmannia Pill). Wash with Yurong San (Jade-Face Powder). With time, it can heal.
Yurong San (Jade-Face Powder): Cleanses Lihei Ban (Dark Spots), Qieban (Freckles), and acne. Its function is to whiten the face and tenderize the skin.
Ingredients: Radix Angelicae Dahuricae (Baizhi, 白芷), Rhizoma Atractylodis Macrocephalae (Baizhu, 白术), Rhizoma Bletillae (Baiji, 白芨), Poria (Baifuling, 白茯苓), Semen Dolichoris (Baibiandou, 白扁豆), Radix Asari (Baixixin, 白细辛), Bombyx Batryticatus (Baijiangcan, 白僵蚕), Lotus Plumule (Bailianrui, 白莲蕊), Fructus Kochiae (Baiqianniu, 白牵牛), Radix Ampelopsis (Bailian, 白蔹), Columbinum Excrementum (Baigeji, 白鸽冀), Radix Nartheci (Gansong, 甘松), Rice Flour (Tuanfen, 团粉), add Bai Dingxiang (White Civet Musk, 白丁香), Rhizoma Typhonii (Baifuzi, 白附子), Aquila Chiba (Ying tiao, 鹰条) (equal parts), Saposhnikoviae Radix (Fangfeng, 防风), Schizonepetae Spica (Jingjiesui, 荆芥穗), Notopterygii Rhizoma et Radix (Qianghuo, 羌活), Angelicae Pubescentis Radix (Duhuo, 独活) (half amount).
Grind all into powder, store in a jar. Wash three times daily.
Alternatively: Soak Baizhu (Atractylodes Macrocephala Rhizome) in vinegar and rub on the area; effective within half a month.
