Tu Li (Earth Chestnut) arises beside the heel, swelling like glazed glass with a bright yellow hue; walking on rugged paths injures the sinews and bones, requiring immediate administration of Xian Fang He Wu Xiang Tang.
[Note] This condition is also known as Liu Li Ju (Glazed Carbuncle), arising beside the heel, shaped like a jujube or chestnut, shiny and yellow, swollen like glazed glass. It results from laborious injury to the sinews, bones, and blood vessels caused by walking on rugged roads. One should immediately take Wu Xiang Tang and Xian Fang Huo Ming Yin (Prescription for Saving Life in Swelling and Ulceration) to unblock stagnation; once pus has matured, puncture it with a needle. If there is little pus but much fluid, apply Tuo Seng Gao. For other aspects, follow the treatment methods for carbuncles and ulcers.
Wu Xiang Tang (Five Fragrances Decoction)
Ru Xiang (Frankincense), Huo Xiang (Patchouli Herb), Ding Xiang (Clove), Chen Xiang (Aquilaria Wood), Qing Mu Xiang (Aucklandiae Radix) (each 3.5 qian).
Boil two bowls of water until reduced to 0.8 bowl, then take orally.
[Formula Song] Wu Xiang Tang effectively treats Tu Li, addressing blood vessel accumulation from walking injuries; composed of Ru Xiang, Huo Xiang, Ding Xiang, Chen Xiang, and Qing Mu Xiang, its decoction and oral administration excellently relieves stagnation.

Leng Ding (Cold Carbuncle) arises at the heel due to damp-cold, causing pain penetrating to the bone, appearing purple, forming black rotting deep holes that bleed and weep, with foul odor; Shen Deng Zhao Fa (Divine Lamp Illumination Method) is effective.
[Note] This condition arises at the heel, formed by the coagulation of damp-cold. It resembles a jujube or chestnut, presenting with purple-white blisters, pain penetrating to the bone, gradually developing black necrotic qi, deep rotting sores, and frequent bleeding and weeping. For cases with foul odor that fail to heal over time, apply Shen Deng Zhao Fa. Apply Tie Fen San externally. Initially, take Nei Bu Shi Xuan San internally, then treat according to ulcer protocols.
Tie Fen San (Iron Powder Powder)
Sheng Tie Fen (Raw Iron Powder, i.e., iron filings. If unavailable, use 4 liang of black lead, melt in an iron spoon, pour into water to cool and solidify, remove, melt again, pour again, until all lead is consumed, drain water and collect powder. Dosage: 3 qian), Huang Dan (Lead Carbonate, refined), Qing Fen (Calomel), Song Xiang (Pine Rosin) (each 1 qian), She Xiang (Musk) (1 fen).
Grind each into fine powder, mix thoroughly, and grind again to ensure uniformity. Wash the affected area with scallion soup to remove blood, fluid, and foul odor. Mix the medicine with sesame oil, apply to the lesion, cover with oiled paper, and bandage.
[Formula Song] Tie Fen San treats cold carbuncles of the foot, capable of eradicating black necrotic tissue and promoting muscle regeneration; composed of Huang Dan, Qing Fen, Song Xiang, and She Xiang, applied with sesame oil and covered with paper for effective results.
